These sets of lectures are far from boring, they are fascinating and very applicable to real life! I think that EVERYONE should have a better understand of economics to make good financial decisions in their lives, and this set of lectures is perfect for that!
The lecturer followed every lead and turned over every stone. Nothing was left out in the search to understand where the New Testament came from, and what the original authors may have meant. I really enjoyed learning about the contextual background of the time period at which the books were written.
The lecturer gave a very insightful explanation of the book of Revelations. A new way of looking at it.
I would recommend this book. The only thing I didn't like was the narrator was rather dry and monotone.
I understood very little of this and found myself skipping from chapter to chapter. I have a technical background in engineering and math, but that didn't help with understanding the biological, neurological and medial terminology used in this coarse.
Fluff fluff fluff! Its all fluff and no substance. If you plan on listening to this, you had better be a very patient person because the useful information is far and few between.
Card seems to have lacked the drive to come up with his own ideas and has copied his plots from biblical text and the book of mormon. Even the characters are unoriginal and all represent book of mormon characters.
The first 40 minutes was a complete waste of time. No useful information was given. The last ten minutes gave some common sense reasoning. Nothing insightful or useful to be found in this book.
