I would recommend this book to my friends only after they have read
Don't remember too well
All the characters in this book have a specific purpose. I would not cut any character from this story
I did not read the print version so I am unable to compare it to the audio edition of this book.
I just finished another book by this writer and I feel this book had a great deal intrigue, and passion, very lively characters, and an exciting story line... These are the items I look for when I select a book by this writer.
Dick Hill has a way of expressing the different personalities with the changes in his tone of voices. These changes in his voice helps the listener to visualize the different personalities and emotions in the story line. Several audio books I have listened to recently did not provide that same skill.
Yes and no. I wanted the story to continue... but I would have listened to this audio in one sitting if my schedule and life style would have permitted it.
I look forward to listening to other audio-books by Dick Hill and Sandra Brown. They make a great combination.
The reader brought to life so many different characters in this book. The story was well written with a story line that kept me on edge from beginning to end. I looked forward to hearing what would take place in the next chapter and what each character would do next. I really wish this book was in movie form. It is full of thrilling surprises.
The truth behind the many hidden secretes of each character. I enjoyed the revelations as the story unfolded. I enjoyed the great surprise given to the misfortunate characters.
I appreciated the descriptions used by the writer without becoming too graphic of the more dreadful scenarios.
I loved the true character of Cash Boudreau. The fact that he was very truthful about who he is regardless of the opinion of others. I enjoyed the confidence and boldness of his character. Even with his misfortunes, he didn't loose what it took to be the man he needed to be.
This book deserves your best attention. The Title speaks the loudest.
This writer has always kept me coming back for more. This book offered so much more than I expected. I really hope there will be a sequel to this book.
Tamy is a vert good writer. But I did not see the purpose of the goat in thevstory. I didn't care for Jen Taylor's impersonation of the congressman because her voice made him sound like a drug addict or a beach bum instead of a congressman.
Not sure yet
I did not like Jen Taylor's performance in this story
I would replace the goat with a dog
This story was very different from the other books I have listened to by this writter. Not as interesting.
This audio was time well spent because there was constant suspense throughout the story
The ending eas somewhat predictable.
The pace of the narration did match the story. But the Voice of the narrator did not match all of the charactors in the story.
The audio version allows the reader to get a clearer picture of the emotional waves in this story first hand. The picture is painted much clearer in the audio than in print.
Bart was my favorite charactor. I loved his patient attitude, unbias outlook and his appreciation for living well. He was a very smart man that arrived at his powerfull status not easily. He new enough about women to appreciate and recognize a woman of quality.
Fay was a memorable character: Inteligent, proud, feminen, eligant and cautious.
If I renamed this book I would name it, Courtiers of another kind.
This book stress how important Trust was to Bart, and how unaware Faye was of her own beauty and how powerful it was. I became aware of how beauty and inteligence can manuever the senses of so many men. Thats a beast in itself to learn.
There was a lot happening in this novel, so I had to stay tuned in to keep up. Burning bridges is not alway a wise move. The lead character in this novel assumed that her life had progressed forward but her past life caught up with her future.
Yes because the audio version vocalizes the emotions and attitudes of the characters. It also paints a clear picture of the environment surrounding events within the story.
I would compare this book to the book titled: Secrets Never Told- which is also written by Rochele Alers.
My favorite character in. This book is the adopted son. Even though he was raised in the world of high society, he did not allow his intelligence and moral character to be tainted or deminished.
While visiting his parent's home Jordons ishowed Aziza where she could go to rest privately and not sleep with him. I thought that action spoke volumes about his character
This book is a must read, And since it is part of a new series, I'm looking forward to the next book. This author is a great writer.
