I'm on the fence with this book. I like Richard North Patterson books. But I thought this book was a bit slow. It's about a murder that took place in the spire years earlier. And an innocent man is in jail. Darrow becomes an excellent attorney. He used to be friends with the man who's in jail now for the murder of the girl, who was found in the spire. Something about the murder bothers Darrow, so he gets help to open the case up again. So the story begins almost 1/3 way into the book.
I have no complaints about the narrator, he did a good job.
This book had an interesting summary.. But it took forever to get to the point.. It took every once of patients to finish this book.. I usually like books with eccentric characters with psychic abilities. I have to say the summary is the best part of this book. It reminds me of a movie preview. You pay the money to see this great movie, and all the best parts where in the trailer...
The book is about 2 sisters with psychic abilities, but one of the sisters does everything in her power to diminish her abilities. And it's the complete opposite with the other sister who is eccentric and proud to be a medium.
Violet the sister who is the medium predicts an earthquake.. She goes as far as to publicly admit to the prediction. And this prediction eventually brings the two sisters together.. BORING!!1
This is a Mystery Thriller , and a good audible book.. Dick Hill the narrator always does a good job.
Alan Gregory is Psychologist, with a prospering career. Alan has two new patients. Kelda James who's an FBI agent with a secret. She suffers from a crippling disorder to her legs..But is it all in her head? Then there's Tom Clone who has been on death row for 13 years.. And gets a pardon with Kelda James help.
Kelda then refers Clone to Alan Gregory. With both Kelda and Clone telling him their innermost secrets, Alan Gregory is able to piece together this puzzle - of two unsolved murders. Is Tom Clone innocent or just or is he just one lucky man?
Unknown to Tom Clone, there are two obsessed people after him. And they have plotted a
terrible fate for Tom at all cost..
This book is fast paced.. And entertaining..
This was my first time reading a Chevy Stevens book. I will definitely be reading her previous works. Always Watching, kept me at the edge of my seat. It wasn't a nail bitter, but it surely kept me entertained and wanting to see what happened next.
Dr. Nadine Lavoie works in a lock down psychiatric hospital. Were she meets her new patient, Heather Simeon. A distraught woman with suicidal tendencies. Heather starts to

As Nadine struggles to come to terms with her past. She also has to deal with her daughter, Lisa. Who is a drug addict, living on the streets.
The more Nadine digs, the closer she is to danger.
One last thing, the narrator Joyce Bean, brings this book to life. Her performance was a 5 out of 5 stars.
Baldacci has written a roller coaster ride of a book. A professional couple get caught up in a conspiracy. Sidney Archer a criminal attorney and her husband Jason Archer a young executive at Triton Global. Become the escape goats for stolen money, murder, and selling company secrets. If you are a technology geek, you maybe disappointed. The technology used in the story is a bit outdated. Ex: (Some of the characters are using pay phones).
Where I'm from the are almost non-existent, except for airports :) and using floppy disks. I don't know when was the last time I've seen one of those.)
If you don't mind that the book is a bit outdated with tech terminology, then you will enjoy the book.
The narrator Jonathan Marosz was okay, I think Scott Brick or Ron McLarty would have been a better choice.
Over all I still enjoyed the book.
This was my first time listening to a financial thriller. It was informative, & easy to follow. This book is about Bernie" Madoff, a former stockbroker, investment advisor, financier, and white collar criminal. Who created the biggest Ponzi scheme in HISTORY!!! The scheme affected 41 countries and worth $65 BILLION dollars. How the F.C.C. was fore warned time and time again, to become grossly incompetent. And how its still affecting people and companies today.
Scott Brick has narrated another good book. Along with the actual characters of the book.
First I want to say is, I really enjoyed this audio book. If your looking for a true crime book with several stories. Try this one out. The narrator Joe Barrett gives life to the cases written. There are so many words to describe this audio book, educational, informative, and a Eye Opener. John Douglas Retired F.B.I.agent and profiler, has written a book about several cases and trials told from different points of view. It starts with the trials in Salem, Massachusetts and ends with the Amanda Know trial in Italy.
This book is about how innocent people are put in prison or on death row for mishandling forensics and witnesses. And how some judges will ALLOW CRACK POT testimony! After listening to this book, It honestly scares me that these people are in a position of power. Till the day of today.
Jacob is a resident at a hospital with a wife and 3 children. But Jacob has a secret, he comes from a polygamist family. Jacob does not hold the same beliefs. And then the F.B.I. comes calling for his help. He agrees do become an informant. While doing his civic duty, his wife gets thrown out on the streets, the senator is after his(Jacob) family. Now Jacob has to pick up the pieces of his life.
The story is about Mormon polygamists, Mormon non- polygamists, a murder, and a man calling himself a prophet. The narrator did a good job with the story. The book was suspenseful, and educational. If your looking for something different, I suggest the Might and Strong.
I thought I read all of Dean Koontz books. Then I came across Fear Nothing. As usual Koontz know how to keep you wanting more. Unless your a Koontz fan, you may not want to listen to this book. If you are a Koontz fan, I suggest that you listen to this one. Christopher Snow has XP xeroderma pigmentosum. light-sensitivity so severe that he cannot leave his house in daylightI And his special dog Orson who is almost human. After his father dies, he stumbles across a man who's eyes where gauged out. And his adventure begins. It's about military experiments. And how his mother had something to do with it. He can't trust no one, but Orson. This book was fun and entertaining.
The narrator Keith Szarabajka did a good job with this book.
This was my first time reading a Patricia Gussin novel. It's a good suspense book. It's not your typical kidnapping. It's about identical triplets, and there bond to each other. How one sense's what the other may be going through.Even though there are identical triplets, each one is different from the other. You don't know who kidnapped the girls until 3/4 of the book. I can't say who kidnapped the girls. It will give away the " Who Done It". I would suggest this book.
The narrator did a good job with this novel.
