Giovanni Pietro D’Angelo is a highly respected silk merchant who wants nothing more than to see his seven daughters married off. Though Giuliano has a dark history with women, the Pietro D’Angelos have too much to gain from the pairing and turn a blind eye to his past deeds. What would have made Bianca better?

The description should have clearly stated that this was not a traditional love story. Our heroine who was misused by her first husband ended up having to share her second husband with two wives.

What was most disappointing about Bertrice Small’s story?

I felt so bad for the second wife who wanted her husbands love and would never get it, instead she got to spend two nights out of every month in her husbands bed and had to learn to be content. I would be raving mad!! No wonder there can be such jealousy and even murder in those situations. Although in this story the three wives were apparently happy as clams by the end of the story.

What does Jill Tanner bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She had a great voice, clear without being annoying. She delivered the story at a good pace as well.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

I was completely discontented with this story. I would have been so much happier with a story supporting a monogamous relationship. I feel tricked. This is a 13 hour story I spent money on. I wanted a happy ending!

    Any additional comments?

Honestly, they had to know marketing this book that it was different from traditional romance stories. Most women of mainstream society don't like the idea of sharing their husbands. I don't like the idea of multiple wives. I hope the creators of this book consider changing their description of this book, while they didn't lie in their description it definitely wasn't accurate; nobody expects a deviation from the norm to this degree.

Annabel was about to take the veil to become a nun, when her mother suddenly arrived at the abbey to take her home...so that she can marry the Scottish laird who is betrothed to her runaway sister! She knows nothing about being a wife, nothing about how to run a household, and definitely nothing about the marriage bed. From the moment Ross MacKay sets eyes on Annabel, he is taken with his shy, sweet bride...and the fact that she's blessed with lush curves only makes him utter his own prayers of thanks. But when an enemy endangers her life, he'll move the Highlands themselves to save her.

What did you love best about An English Bride in Scotland?

Ross simply accepts Annabelle without question

What was one of the most memorable moments of An English Bride in Scotland?

Honestly Annabelle just kept getting into these crazy situations during the story no one moment stands out the whole story was super funny and heartwarming in turns

What does Mary Jane Wells bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She brings the story to life, though I can't imagine the story being any less good in print

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The moment Ross first laid eyes on Annabelle and decided to marry her

    Any additional comments?

the villan was incredibly predictable. When the hero and heroine became vulnerable they got a headwound. I did take one star off because of this.

Would you listen to Agnes and the Hitman again? Why?

    Yes. It's a classic.

What did you like best about this story?

The combination of funny wit and fast paced narration made the story come to life. I liked it all.

Have you listened to any of Sandra Burr’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Just as good as some of the others I've listened to

Emma Keane is your average city girl trying to get a date. There's just one thing holding her back: the disembodied male voice speaking to her through her mind. Sound kind of crazy? Maybe. But crazy turns downright deadly when the voice persuades her to travel to the wilds of the Mayan jungle. There she will free his body - his incredibly hot, muscled, naked body.

Lindsay Willows craves a simple life. One where she can make a difference without drawing too much attention to herself. As the daughter of both a vampire and a fay, the cards were already stacked against her. Finding out she's the supposed mate of a dark fay prince doesn't help matters. Especially when there are those who will stop at nothing to prevent her from mating with a prince she's never even met. When Exavier Kedmen, the incredibly sexy front man for a world-famous band, shows up wanting her to go back to a field she left three years ago, she can't explain the strong feelings that surface for a man she barely knows.

Have you ever met someone that just grated on your nerves? The characters of this book grated on mine. While the characters interacted well with eachother, they seemed to exhibit a distinct lack of higher reasoning skills. In short I would love these characters in small doses, they were funny after all. But I could not stand another minute of them getting sidetracked from life and death situations and not seeing threw obvious falsehoods. About an hour into this audio I started skipping threw sections but the bad decisions just kept coming. Finally I quit.

The narration was good. The voice seemed to bring the characters to life. Pleasant to listen to at first, but as I grew to dislike the characters the voice seemed to grate on me too. lol. I would listen to the narrator again in another book.
