What made the experience of listening to The Creature from Jekyll Island the most enjoyable?

The Factual support for the incredible statements made in this book, made this book one of the most memorable I have ever read. Each and every incredible assertion and fact is footnoted with the source of the fact. It will open your mind to what real history has happened in the U.S.No one, who thinks he knows American history and the economy, truly knows it without reading this very important book.

    Any additional comments?

  • The Amateur: Barack Obama in the White House

    • UNABRIDGED (6 hrs and 31 mins)
    • By Edward Klein
    • Narrated By John McLain
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

It’s amateur hour at the White House. So says New York Times best-selling author Edward Klein in his political exposé The Amateur. Tapping into the public’s growing sentiment that President Obama is in over his head, The Amateur argues that Obama’s toxic combination of incompetence and arrogance has run our nation and his presidency off the rails.

Michael says: "Obama Fans Aren't Going to Like This Book!"
    "Required reading"
If you could sum up The Amateur in three words, what would they be?

    Essential informative reading.
This book addresses facts and issues that have remained buried for too long. Regardless of how one votes, one should have the facts, unvarnished and uncensored before voting. I wish all voters could read this.

What other book might you compare The Amateur to and why?

Dreams from my father-so the reader could compare the facts with an autobiography.

What about John McLain’s performance did you like?

Excellent reading that entertains the listener with what sounds like a detailed documentary.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Any additional comments?

The book leaves one concerned for our journalistic system that seems to have evolved to complete ineffectiveness.
