Sorry, I was disappointed in this book - probably because it was older (written in early 90s), but JG glossed over the exciting parts until the end. Just when I thought it was going to get interesting, she tells us what happened with no action on what actually took place. So glad this isn't the case with the FBI books. Congrats to JG for really improving her writing style.
This is a very good NR book, but the narrator spoils it with a lack of emotion. She just reads at high speed throughout. She doesn't distinguish who is talking. Too bad, because it's an excellent book.
It was like watching a movie. Loved the action, the narration, & everything about it. I've already listened to it twice.
This book was actually very difficult to listen to. While any book narrated by TS is entertaining (he's one of my favorite narrators), this book went on and on too long with struggles, without adding much plot. It started with a lot of promise, but had to force myself to finish. Sorry, but it's definitely not my DH favorite.
I am a huge NR fan,I but this & the other recent books are very one dimensional writing. I'm no writer, but I've listened to hundreds of audible books, and this barely kept my attention. Yes, it's a mystery, but no real story there. Sorry to all NR fans. This is not worth a credit.
I am a huge SB fan. I listen to her stories over & over again, but this story is hard to get through. None of the characters are likeable and even though Dick Hill does a great job narrating the book, it's just not worth listening to.
This was one of my favorites in the FBI series. I appreciate Audible getting this book.
I had to force myself to come back and finish this book. Long, drawn out story too much filler. Would have been a very good shorter book. The narrator did a good job.
Thanks for getting the unabridged version. It is SO much better than the abridged. Mr. Garrett was the perfect narrator.
This was a long, drawn-out story without a lot of substance. I'll still probably buy the 3rd in the series, but hope it's better than this one. I didn't think the narrator was bad, but you couldn't tell which voices were speaking most of the time. It was even hard to tell if they were male or female. He didn't have much to work with, so I don't fault him as much as my favorite author, NR.
