Far deeper than I expected. I never really thought of too much choice as deleterious.
Starts out slow, but eventually witty, poetic, and captivating. Rothfuss has become my current favorite author. Probably as close to a modern Jack Vance as I can hope to find.
Glimpse of an industry I know nothing about. Too many lists of chemicals. Not much of a plot. Characters not very captivating.
I learned a lot from this. Some people complained about the narrator, but I was satisfied (maybe I was just more focused on the content).
I had no idea Dumas was so good. Wish I had read this long ago.

Can't blame the fellow for trying hard, but his over-the-top enthusiasm for this pablum is about as palatable as a super saturated sugar solution.
