Hope, Faith, belief.
When Logan realized that he had actually found the place he was looking for.
This was my first.
An emotional roller coster.
A great love story.
The hidden Story
First try at giving slave her freedom
Jenna has never disappointed.
The Freedom Within
Great story, must listen
Cannot say, did not even attempt to try the print version. But I would venture to say that the audio version is much better giving life to the charactors. Hearing the accents an tone of each charactor really brings the story to life.
The start of a new life in the new colonies, and of course the story of Clairs first surgery was tooo funny!
Claire and Jamie.
Again, the outlander book series because of their length but does wonders for daily exercise as I could not wait to get back to my book.
#3, After the origional "Outlander" an the second book " Dragonfly in Amber"
the sacrifices of the charactors
Yes, but the length of all the outlander books make it impossible to listen to all in one sitting, but has done wonders for my workout schedule. I would go work out just to listen or continue to listen to the story.
I would recommend this entire series to a friend, It is a story that is so captivating that you feel as if you are there, that you are part of the story an have a relationship with the charactors.
The only other books I can compare this book to are the others in the series.
I am in awe of Ms. Porter's preformance, she actually gives life to the charactors, with their accents, tone and pitch.
I have been moved by the entire series.
All I can say is this series is a must listen.
Captivating, Moving, Addictive.
Don't know if I could pick one thing that I like best about the story. I wasn't expecing to be so captivated by the story, expecially the underlying story of true love.
This was my fist listen of this narriator but am now a fan.
There are so many moving moments, I laughed, I cried, I sat on the edge of my seat. When I finished the book I immediately looked for the next, left me wanting more.
When I first started to listen the accents threw me off, it wasnt until the third time I started the book until I was hooked. I have since listed to the entire series.
The nariation brought the story to life.
That it is totally believable.
gave insight into the charactor.
Since this book has been made into a film, I think the "tag line" was perfect.
A must listen. The story will carry you away.
The diversity of the charactors pulled me into the story.
LOL...the Doll sisters.
Bless your heart.
The title is decieving, it's a must listen.......I listened to it twice simply because I enjoyed it so much.
Yes and I have for the pure enjoyment of the charactors.
I would compair it to "The Help", in the way the charactors are portrayed.
She brings the story and each charactor to life, the listener can feel what they are feeling
A Mother's Madness, a Daughter's Peace
I would listen again! There are so many things going on that it's possible to miss something the first time.
Zelda of course! I was named after her and am in awe of her. During a time when society thought that a woman couldnt possibly be happy if she wasnt a wife and mother. Zelda knew that she had a mind of her own, her own opinions, thoughts and emotions and didnt think anything of expressing her opinion. She was open to new things, unconventional things, egar to experience new people and places.
Zelda.....I loved the first person account and always enjoy Jenna's portrails, she really makes a story come to life.
Yes, once I got started I didnt want to stop.
Great listen, insite into a faciniating women during a faciniating time.
I would recommend this , it is truely a classic. Somewhat hard to understand simply because of the sophisticed language used.
Of course it's Jane, this woman overcame many obsticles in her life but stood by her priciples.
The reader was fantastic and was able to capture of the emotion of the charactor.
I would have like to but I broke it up over a few day.
Everyone should listed for the lessons that can be learned from it...never give up, stick to your principles not to mention the english lesson as in how to properly speak.
