I love this lecture, and I'm glad The Great Courses provided for everyone no matter if you are novices or advanced to sophisticated investors. I yearn for this kind of information to be more educated investor. I'm happy to spend my credit on this.
For the first time my venture with LK's work (Lessons From French) I gave her two thumbs up immediately, because the way she intertwined the story and weaved some humor in the dialogue. But in this story she weaved it with something supernatural makes my brain numb, even though she always has the signature love story of broken man who seek for repentance from the past I gave her three stars for it.
And as usual Nicholas Boulton receive five stars from me for his fabulous performance.
This is my second venture with the author after "The Noble Intention" which also I like because the leading female character has the signature of the author which is saucy, funny, courageous, and witty, which in my opinion, in real life I wouldn't find a single female dare or have a gut to say it aloud.
As usual Allison Larkin is always giving her very well performance to voice the characters and make the story always enjoyable.
I assumed that Katie McAllister make her own signature by creating funny and witty leading female character, that makes her story enjoyable as light romance, especially if you looking for something uncomplicated story to listen at the end of the day. I love the way the narrator bring out the characters so well makes the story much more entertaining.
This is my first with MC Beaton, and also my new venture to pick short story, in short my first impression of the title that is it's a combination of Barbara Cartland+Alfred Hitchcock+Agatha Christie that's why it becomes my new experience. I still want to venture another titles from the author to see if I can find something memorable and enjoyable to listen more than once.
This is my first with LK's work, I spent my credit since it was pre-order, at that time I don't have much expectation. But now I'd like to say loudly I LOVE IT!!! This is the first audiobook that made me wanting for more for the author's previous titles, see that if it still generates the same feeling. As for the narrator I think he's done some magic to bring the story so vividly alive in my imagination. In other word LK and Nicholas have perfect collaboration, salute for them both!
At first I chose randomly one of her work "The Bargain" and didn't expect much, but then it surprised me and wanted for more of her work. Now I venture the second of the Fallen Angels series, and I love it too. As always the characters and the storyline is richly developed, and full of unexpected twist as her distinguished uniqueness that hooked me for the first time.
I wonder how the author has vast and unlimited imagination. I definitely look forward for the upcoming audiobook of the series.
I just can say this is my first with the author and how much I enjoyed it, at first the story gave me the insight about the life as slave living in the British colony, but then the story developed charmingly with the witty characters that overall make the story interesting, especially when the lady loves mathematics, and the man being insulted.
At first I didn't expect much, but then I was glad I gave it a try. This is my second audiobook with Jenny Lucas after Recklace night in Rio, and I love this one, even though the narrator made me struggling with her italian accent and the male voices, but I could get on with it till the end.
Jojo Moyes always amaze me, her work is so authentic and fresh. She can illustrate every scene with her smart way and to me it' s always entertaining. I love ..... Love this audiobook absolutely worth my credit.
At first I just thought there's nothing new in the plot, but still I gave it a try and I surprised how the story amazed me till the end. My first with the author and the narrator I love them both. I'll venture another title from both of them.
