One reviewer said P. Tull is like listening to a grandfather tell a story and I agree. That is not what I want in a audio book, I want the change of inflection of voice so I can tell that a character in the book is talking not just the narrator. I can't listen to this, I will have to re-buy the book with S. Vance narrating.
It's not too long, and a lot of fun. I recommend to any Star Trek fan.
Good story, ok Narration.
The Feudal Japanese politics got a little over whelming a few times, but the author does a great job of reminding you later if you miss something. I read other James Clavell books years ago, and after listening to this I am going to get the other books in audio format.
The Narration we good with the Portuguese accents, fine with the general narration, but the robot like Japanese voices are pretty terrible.
