Yes, it was free. If I had purchased it, I would have been okay, but not overwhelmed with my purchase. Warren is a likeable guy, and made some good points, but I have heard better.
Warren is a speaker by trade. I think if I saw him in person, I would probably enjoy hearing him speak, but this was an average book on sales.
It brought to my attention some things that I could refine, but it wasn't overwhelmingly "life changing".
The content, the authenticity as I mentioned above. In my twitter post I said that after finishing the audiobook, my take away was that this was authentic, gritty, thought provoking, reality based, no fluff read/listen that I could listen to again easily. The narration was very good. Easy to listen to and very believable.
That while Marc, like all of us have had our challenges in our respective businesses, that we do not comprimise ourselves, that we remain authentic to who we are. That we be "unlabeled".
Marc of course, though Seth seemed quite a character in and of himself. I think he would be an interesting individual to meet.
That when the "great recession hit" Marc's company was hit, like everyone else, but, they pushed through and made it and learned a lot of valuable lessons both personally and professionally.
I believe if you are contemplating running your own business, or even in a business, like myself for some time, it is a valuable read/listen!
Yes, because you can hear the emotion and belief behind his words. He also adds his own comments in addition to what the book says.
First audiobook I heard, and have nothing to compare to it, as it is one of the best out there on sales improvement/enhancement.
I felt like he spoke from the heart, could relate to the challenges those individuals in sales face, because he has been in sales all his life. I like his no excuses attitude.
No, it just reaffirmed and solidified what I needed to do to enhance my practice.
