Travel to other planets is now a reality, and with overpopulation stretching the resources of Earth, the necessity of finding habitable worlds is growing ever more urgent. There’s a problem though—because the spaceships are slower than light, any communication between the exploring ships and Earth would take years.

Tom and Pat are identical twin teenagers. As twins they’ve always been close, so close that it seemed like they could read each other’s minds.

If you could sum up Time for the Stars in three words, what would they be?

    Classic Sci Fi

Have you listened to any of Barrett Whitener’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I do not remember listening to Barrett Whitener before, but his read carried me to the stars with the charactors. It does help to have good material but Whitener brought it to life. His voice fit the book.

    Any additional comments?

I enjoy true sci fi such as this book.

Follow 23 adventures of Private Detective Harry Nile chronologically from his first case in December 1939 to Winter 1942. These are full-cast audio dramatizations.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

If my friend remembers and enjoyed old radio drama, this would be the show for him. When I was a kid in the 1950s, my father let me listen to records of old radio drama, and when I scanned the dial of the old tube radio late at night, sometimes I could find radio shows like this one.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

These were nice short stories fitting of the hard boiled detective I enjoy.

Which character – as performed by Jim French and Phil Harper – was your favorite?

Harry Nile, our hero is my favorite of course.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The whole flavor of dramatic radio theator is wonderful for me.
