From 1999 to 2009, U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle recorded the most career sniper kills in United States military history. The Pentagon has officially confirmed more than 150 of Kyles kills (the previous American record was 109), but it has declined to verify the astonishing total number for this book. Iraqi insurgents feared Kyle so much they named him al-Shaitan ("the devil") and placed a bounty on his head.

What did you love best about American Sniper?

I liked how he talked about the members he served with. The closeness and loyalty he had for them. But the parts in between were lacking. Maybe that was because he couldn't give specifics of the missons. When he talked about kills it was like ...just another afternoon out shooting ground squarrels...killed that one, got another one. Maybe that was how it was. Maybe that is how he had to coupe with fufilling his missons.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I really don't know it was a good story it just needed more.

Have you listened to any of John Pruden’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    Nope

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    no
