I called Audible. She couldn't tell me exactly which chapters were missing, but she said the missing parts were in Part III. That's the part I'm listening to now. I did notice that right in the middle of a story line about the Gregory Peshcov's son I was all of a sudden hearing about Chuck Dewar in Hawaii for a sentence or two and them back to Russia. I guess I'll just listen to the entire Part III again.
If you're reading this, Audible folks, it would have been helpful to have been told exactly what and where the missing parts were.
I loved this story, but for much of the time I was struggling to understand two of the narrators. There is no reason that I can think of that multiple narrators were even needed. It added nothing to the story. In fact, the difficulty that I had in understanding the heavily accented English often detracted from the story. Get this one in print and enjoy (and understand) every word.
