It was supposed to be simple. All Navy SEAL Nathan Malone had to do was rescue three young girls from a Colombian drug cartel, then allow himself to be captured just long enough to draw out a government spy. That was before his mission went disastrously wrong… and before his wife, Bella, was told that Nathan was never coming home. Bella’s mourned her husband’s death for three long years, having no idea that he was still alive....

If you could sum up Wild Card in three words, what would they be?

    Good Story but......

What did you like best about this story?

Overall the book was great. I like romance books with a strong storyline that includes strong, sexy men.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Clarissa Knightly?

Yes, but probably not one with so much sex talk. Her voice is a bit annoying with the naughty bedroom scenes.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I wanted to fast forward thru some of it because the writer is redundant and makes the love scenes go on, and on, and on.

    Any additional comments?

This book had, in my opinion, too much talk about blow jobs and was just plain dirty in some scenes. I'm all about a good romance but this writer's books seem to get pretty naughty.

Where does Public Secrets rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I prefer listening to books that are 12 to 20 hours in length. This one definitely fit the bill. I thought this was enjoyable. Different from the norm for Nora Roberts but I wanted something different.

Born of a match between good and evil, four siblings stand between hell's minions and everything they want to destroy. They are the Lords of Deliverance, and they have the power to ward off Doomsday... or let it ride.... Jillian Cardiff came to this remote mountain town to forget the demon attack that almost killed her. Instead, she rescues - and falls for - a gorgeous stranger who has no memory of anything other than his name. Handsome, charming, and protective, Reseph seems like the kind of man whom Jillian can trust.

What disappointed you about Rogue Rider?

I liked the Lords of Deliverance series until this one. There were too many flashbacks and Indian stories. I actually returned this one for a credit on my account.

Would you ever listen to anything by Larissa Ione again?

Yes, I like Ione although she uses a lot of the same phrases in her books.

Maybe it was the Shenanigans gift certificate that put her over the edge. When children's librarian and self-professed nice girl Jane Jameson is fired by her beastly boss and handed $25 in potato skins instead of a severance check, she goes on a bender that's sure to become Half Moon Hollow legend. On her way home, she's mistaken for a deer, shot, and left for dead.

    Entertaining & Credit Worthy

What other book might you compare Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs to and why?

I compare the book to the Sookie Stackhouse books. It has many laughable lines and the story is entertaining as well.

    Any additional comments?

This is a great listen. I prefer paranormal romance & suspense books but occasionally need a break. This was a good choice. Not sure when I will listen to the 2nd book in this series but I'm sure I will get around to it eventually.

This is a good book. It was not one that I couldn't put down but overall I enjoyed it. I was not expecting the language to be so vulgar in parts. It is definitely not for younger listeners.
