Normally I enjoy Scott Brick but the material provided made him unlikable
I get Zig's angle. I read his back story. What bothered me is his reliance on Christianity as a reason to believe in yourself.
Zig is an entertaining story teller.
I fully agree with Zig's points about staying positive, seeing the excellence in yourself, and daily affirmations. What bugged me is in the second half of the recording, his heavy reliance on bible verses was distracting. He promotes living by the bible, while picking and choosing what parts to pay attention to and what parts to not discuss. With that approach, it becomes a magical fix-all when it really is not. I believe this logic can and has mislead many people sincerely interested in bettering themselves in business and personal affairs.
I like Zig. He is a wonderful speaker with tremendous life experience. However, as an Atheist, I feel this book veered from motivational to propaganda in the second half.
If the book were actually more about psychology and less of a biography of Darwin.
