Jill Tanner is the most boring narrator of all! I've only bought the audiobook to follow the story. Sometimes she is the reason to not purchase the audiobook and read the paper back myself instead
The story was better than the second part. But the narration....I don't know....also slightly better....if there will be a 3rd book hopefully with another narrator.
The story would not be bad, but the narration spoiled it all. I could not hear it to the end. The scottish accent was much to pronounced, it was hurting... the constant wining when she spoke the women`s parts...awfull. It is a pitty that this narrator has so often the task of narration in this area of audiobooks. I will think a second time before I purchase another book read by her.
Story is good, book has been utterly ruined by the narrator. Please do not ever engage her again!!!!!! Do not waste a credit. I could not finish, I read the book by myself.
I've listen to this one the whole night, I couldn't stop until I finished it just now. The only bad in this book is that it is the last one. I would so hope to continue to listen to another one in this serie. Maybe Neal's or Lachlan`s? If you love Highlander Romance Novels you must listen to this.
Why does it has to be Susan Duerden? Such an interesting story and than...to be butchered by screaching voices which supposed to be men and little girl-voices like mice supposed to be grown women. I couldn'd finish the audiobook, because it has gotten worse with every chapter. Please do not let her ruin another good audiobook.
Please don't choose Angela Dawe anymore for romance novels and scottish accent. Her monotone kind of reading ruins every good story. It would be better to read the paperback!!!
I have to stop listening, I can't finish because of the badest narration ever. Spear your credit.
This is one of the greatest stories I've ever heard. I can't remember a time when I cried so often about a book and its content. Some passages are so gut-wrenching. One might think this is a bad thing but it isn't. It shows how very impressive it is and captivating. If you are interested in jewish history, you have to read or hear this book.
I can recommend the book a 100%! I will hear it more than once.
NO! Because of the narrator I`d rather read it by myself
she is boring, without passion, here performance was driving me sometimes mad!!!
Why Jill Tanner for a romance novell? Maybe she'll do better with an other genre
