Would you listen to The Homecoming of Samuel Lake again? Why?

No, I don't re-read books because there are too many out there to read or listen to.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Swan. She was passionate about what she believed in and very caring, but also had a lot of sassiness to go along with good side.

What does Catherine Taber bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The emotion in her voice. She made the characters come to life.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes....but it was a very long book

Would you consider the audio edition of The Thirteenth Tale to be better than the print version?

It was better due to the excellent narration, but the Whisper Sync option didn't work. I had to keep catching myself on each device.

What other book might you compare The Thirteenth Tale to and why?

    None can compare!!!

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

Performance was only dislike due to Whisper Sync issues.

Who was the most memorable character of The Thirteenth Tale and why?

    Cinderella's daughter, Miss Winters.

Devoted fans of Leila Meacham will devour this long, juicy audiobook. Tumbleweeds is the story of three young friends - the saint, the sinner, and the angel - growing up together in the sort of small Texas Panhandle town that lives and dies by its Friday night football games. A fateful event casts a long shadow over these three intertwined lives and leaves the listener desperate to see how it all plays out.

If you could sum up Tumbleweeds in three words, what would they be?

    Great Character Development!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Kathy, because she was a strong and intelligent woman, who overcame adversity!

What about Angele Masters’s performance did you like?

Some of her voices were good, but some just didn't fit with the character.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me cry when the accident happened with the young man.

    Any additional comments?

Narration was not as good as "Roses" by the same author.
