Alex Lomax is the one and only private eye working the mean streets of New Klondike, the Martian frontier town that sprang up 40 years ago after Simon Weingarten and Denny O’Reilly discovered fossils on the Red Planet. Back on Earth, where anything can be synthesized, the remains of alien life are the most valuable of all collectibles, so shiploads of desperate treasure hunters stampeded to Mars in the Great Martian Fossil Rush.

In true form, Robert Sawyer came up with a unique story line. It is fast moving, exciting and as all Robert Sawyer books, a unique twist in his story. I'm a fan of Sawyer, and I read every book. .He never disappoints. Though Hominids will always be my favorite Sawyer books, Red Planet Blues is really very good. He creates a believable planet history, love how he deals with aliens. It's hard to put down and once completed, you will ponder concepts for some time. Great author, one of my favorite sci-fi authors.

What did you love best about Triggers?

Unique idea, lots of action, fast moving mystery, and had a great sci-fi twist. Just love Robert Sawyer. Read/listened to all his books, watched his TV show and would love to see more of his books in movies. Triggers would make a superb movie!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Triggers?

Interesting characters for the 'sharing', created ordinary people with heart and all the foibles of being human. It's a great sci-fi thriller.

Which character ??? as performed by Jeff Woodman ??? was your favorite?

No one in particular. I did like the insight into the President and how the doctors handled the issues.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I did not have the time in one sitting but carried the iPod with me and listened every chance I could. It's a fast read, kept me on edge.

    Any additional comments?

it's a great story, would make a super movie, I love Sawyer's work and would love to see more of his books made into movies - espcially the Neanderthal trilogy.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would actually recommend this. It was not the most entertaining but the info was presented well. It's a bit of a stretch and slow moving but another take on UFO mythology.

What was the most compelling aspect of this narrative?

Just the possibility of another cover up regarding UFO's. A long time ago I met a pilot who supposedlyflew the alien bodies to a different government site. Ever since hearing that story I look for various confirmations by other sources. More of a hobby interest than anything else.

    Which scene was your favorite?

None in particular comes to mind. It was slow moving.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

I would only recommend a tv or internet movie.

    Any additional comments?

There are better stories out there but this is still worth listening.

Jane Hayes is a seemingly normal young New Yorker, but she has a secret. Her obsession with Mr. Darcy, as played by Colin Firth in the BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, is ruining her love life: no real man can compare. But when a wealthy relative bequeaths her a trip to an English resort catering to Austen-crazed women, Jane's fantasies of meeting the perfect Regency-era gentleman suddenly become realer than she ever could have imagined.

What did you love best about Austenland?

As a Jane Austen reader year in and year out, I found this entertaining and true to the Austen way. Very enjoyable.

What did you like best about this story?

The characters were well developed in the Austen style. Interesting and kept me reading.

If you could take any character from Austenland out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Darcy of course. What girl doesn't want to go out with a 'Darcy

    Any additional comments?

Would love to read more of Austenland.

The Learning Spanish Like Crazy method lets you learn Spanish quickly and easily. It has been created by native Spanish speakers from Latin America to make sure you learn to speak Spanish just like a native. All speakers are college-educated speakers from Latin America to make sure you develop an authentic accent. This is a fun method of learning Spanish - no tedious memory drills. You learn practical spoken Spanish that you can use in everyday situations. Level 1 consists of Lessons 1 to 30.

Excellent, the best program ever! It's format is set up as if the teacher is there with you, you never get 'lost' . This is easy, complete and thorough. I'm never bored with repetition. This must be the easiest program on the planet. Why haven't I heard about them before? I've tried Berlitz, and 3 other programs with little success. This is just like having your private instructor, coaxing you, guiding you. Certainly you do the work, but the method sticks with me. I thought I was not able to learn Spanish, but now I'm sure I'll be fluent shortly and then I'll try French.
    THANK YOU AUDIBLE!
