Where does Casting the First Stone rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I couldn't believe how the Rev Curtis Black flipped the script on Tanya. I do worry that this book gives ALL pastors/reverends a bad rep, but the fact is most already have one! This book is juicy with drama! I'm hooked and have been rapidly listening to one after another!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Tanya because I was rooting for her.

Which character – as performed by Caroline Clay – was your favorite?

    Tanya Black

What did you like best about this story?

The impossible love story aspect of it.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Harry, now a best-selling novelist; Emma; their son, Sebastian; and orphaned Jessica make a new life for themselves, but all is not as happy and secure as it could be. This series reminded me of the Harry Potter series because of the accent and vocabulary. I assure you this is realistic fiction! There's no magic in this story. :-) I just assumed J.K. Rowling had made up terms like "Prefect" when they are real roles are things in Britain. :)

It is Nick and Amy Dunne's fifth wedding anniversary. Presents are being wrapped and reservations are being made when Nick's clever and beautiful wife disappears from their rented McMansion on the Mississippi River. Husband-of-the-Year Nick isn't doing himself any favors with cringe-worthy daydreams. Under mounting pressure from the police and the media - as well as Amy's fiercely doting parents - the town golden boy parades an endless series of lies, deceits, and inappropriate behavior. Nick is oddly evasive, and he's definitely bitter - but is he really a killer?

    F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic American novel of the Roaring Twenties is beloved by generations of readers and stands as his crowning work. This new audio edition, authorized by the Fitzgerald estate, is narrated by Oscar-nominated actor Jake Gyllenhaal (Brokeback Mountain). Gyllenhaal's performance is a faithful delivery in the voice of Nick Carraway, the Midwesterner turned New York bond salesman, who rents a small house next door to the mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby....

I wondered how Gatsby got his money. The endless descriptions of nothing.

Which character – as performed by Jake Gyllenhaal – was your favorite?
