An enzyme that will dramatically prolong life has been discovered 2,000 feet down in the North Atlantic, in an area known as "Lost City". But why are the people attempting to harvest it getting killed? Why are the scientists in a remote Greek laboratory disappearing one by one? To Kurt Austin, leader of NUMA's Special Assignments Team, and his colleague Joe Zavala, it's clear they have their work cut out for them, but it may be even bigger than they think.

Would you try another book from Clive Cussler and Paul Kemprecos and/or Scott Brick?

No! This book was awful. The Story was awful... the characters were awful!

What could Clive Cussler and Paul Kemprecos have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Write a better book... don't talk so high tech about things the average person wouldn't/doesn't understand.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

    The narrator was good.

    Any additional comments?

Don't waste your time with this book. It wasn't good at all.

When Nina Linden is hired to landscape a private island off the New England coast, she sees it as her chance to rebuild her failing business after being cheated by her unscrupulous ex. She never expects that her new client, software mogul Deacon Whitney, would see more in her than just a talented gardener. Deacon has paid top dollar to the crews he’s hired to renovate the desolate Whitney estate - he had to, because the bumps, thumps, and unexplained sightings of ghostly figures in 19th-century dress are driving workers away faster than he can say “Boo.”

The story took a very long time to get moving... Around the middle of the book it started getting good... And the ending was pretty good. I had to re listen to the first 3 chapters over again because I found myself drifting off into thought and not into what was going on. Not Molly Harper's best...

What made the experience of listening to How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf the most enjoyable?

The characters are good! Slow to start....

If you’ve listened to books by Molly Harper before, how does this one compare?

First time listening to a book by Molly Harper.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

The mens' voices!!! All sound exactly the same and the voice she uses is awful... they are all low and whisper quiet. Everything else is great except the male voices... hence the 3 stars on performance. The voice she uses ruins the imagination for some of the men characters.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Laugh.... Cry um no. It was a light fun book. Very slow to start... but about chapter 5 it picks up and is good throughout.

    Any additional comments?

Despite the above comments... I did enjoy the book enough to get the second book and the third in the series.

Where does Better Read Than Dead rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is up there with the Stephanie Plum books! Very fun listens.

Have you listened to any of Elizabeth Michaels’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

She is better in this book than the first. Some of her voices are the same for the characters which makes it a little difficult to understand who is talking. This does not mean she isn't great though.... because she is! :)

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. I obviously didn't have 11 hours all at once to do so though. I wish....

Stephanie Plum may not be the best bounty hunter in beautiful downtown Trenton, but she's pretty darn good at turning bad situations her way...and she always gets her man. Her cousin Vinnie (who's also her boss) has posted bail on Samuel Singh, an illegal immigrant. When the elusive Mr. Singh goes missing, Stephanie is on the case. In a race against time that takes her from the Jersey Turnpike to the Vegas Strip, Stephanie Plum is on the chase of her life.

Jaws is the classic, blockbuster thriller that inspired the three-time Academy Award-winning Steven Spielberg movie and made millions of beachgoers afraid to go into the water. Experience the thrill of helpless horror again - or for the first time! Jaws was #48 in the American Film Institute's 100 Years...100 Movies, and the film earned the coveted #1 spot on the Bravo network's 100 Scariest Movie Moments countdown.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

No. The movie was much better and more interesting than the book. Watch the movie instead.

What was most disappointing about Peter Benchley’s story?

It was so focused on Brody's wife Ellen it seemed like. I didn't quite get it.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Definitely the shark scenes when they are out on the boat trying to kill it.

Who was the most memorable character of Jaws and why?

Brody because he is the main character and he is the POV of the story.

What did you love best about Dead Until Dark?

The story for sure!! It is so well written and the imagination of the author is so vivid!!!

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Yes. She integrates love, suspense, murder, and the supernatural all into one story! I thought it was great!!

What three words best describe Johanna Parker’s performance?

    Men sound awful

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It did make me laugh in some spots... cry, um no.

    Any additional comments?

I am a True Blood fan and I just have to say that I think it is very awesome that HBO took this book almost exactly as written and put it into a HIT TV series!! They didn't change much because the story is just that awesome... what would they change? I love the show and I am so glad to finally sit down and listen (read) how it all began! Kudos to the author and Kudos to HBO to finding a great book to base a series out of.

All New Jersey bounty hunter Stephanie Plum has to do is bring in semi-retired bail jumper Eddie DeChooch. For an old man he's still got a knack for slipping out of sight...and raising hell. How else can Stephanie explain the bullet-riddled corpse in Eddie's garden? Who else would have a clue as to why two of Stephanie's friends suddenly vanished? For answers Stephanie has the devil to pay: her mentor, Ranger. The deal? He'll give Stephanie all the help she needs...if she gives him everything he wants.

Where does Seven Up rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is a typical Stephanie Plum novel. Although I love her and Evanovich's humor, I thought that the story was just ok. But It was worth a credit.

If you’ve listened to books by Janet Evanovich before, how does this one compare?

I would say that this one is worse than others.

What about Lorelei King’s performance did you like?

I LOVED her performance! Great voices and bringing the characters to life! The men's voices sound a little weird but what can you expect from a female narrator. I would expect the same if a male was narrating trying to do a female voice. She was AWESOME!!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and no. I mean I love the Stephanie Plum novels and they are a quick easy read, but I was finding myself doing other things while listening... sort of drifting off a little.
