Jessica's favorite nephew, Grady, asks her to visit him in New York City - and star in a commercial he's creating. But there's little time for sightseeing when there's a murder on the set, complete with a long list of suspects. And Jessica soon finds herself not just a witness in a murder case - but the only one who can uncover the killer!

    Overall

This was my first Murder, She Wrote book. And I think I really would have liked it if it had been set in Cabot Cove, and not on the set of a commercial filming in NYC.

I found it too boring and couldn't finish listening. Also, the narrator's accent was annoying.

  • Mr. Monk and the Blue Flu

Adrian Monk is horrified when he learns there's going to be a blue flu in San Francisco. He doesn't understand what the blue flu is - but it sounds terrible. Captain Stottlemeyer explains that it's not really a virus: the police force plan to call in "sick" until they get a better contract. The good news is that the labor dispute will give Monk a chance to get back on the force. The bad news is, it means he'll be a "scab" - and he doesn't like the sound of that, either.

I LOVE Mr. Monk! This is my second Monk audio book, and though the story became predictable, the characters were awesome. Monk is hilarious, and Angela Brazil did a great job capturing Natalie's voice and persona.
