I felt that the various messages on this topic were very inspiring. The voices were very adequate and clear sounding to me. They were actually a comfort and exhortation at night when all is still and the mind tends to be more open to think on anxious things.
This was much too short. The dramatics were good, but it was not worth the money paid. Those considering purchasing this just for the dramatics are encouraged to buy the unabridged. You won't get the drama, but you'll still thoroughly enjoy the narrating. I bought this thinking perhaps it had something more. I was sorely disappointed.
Once again, John MacArthur gives the biblical truth without compromise. I greatly appreciate how this book points out the importance of remaining true to the biblical faith in a time where many are seeking what feels good instead of embracing the cross of Christ. We have a choice to die to self and live to Christ, or live to self and accept our own version of a false gospel.....whatever form that may take. I pray that many will rise up with John MacArthur and confront our present age with the sound gospel; the only gospel that will save.
