Without question, one of the best books I've ever read our listen too. The language was artistry, the pace, perfect, and the unfolding friendship of four military school cadets, unforgettable. A deep and passionate masterpiece set in the great South.
Tedious, verbose, annoying characters. Couldn't wait for it to finish. In fact I skipped a few chapters towards the end. Wouldn't recommend this audiobook at all.
I think my title says it all, a must not waste your time to read
Way, way, way too long! To detailed at times to even follow the story line. If you're interested in a book with rapid development and quick rushes, I recommend that you purchase something else.
Don't shoot the narrator, Frank Muller is doing the best he can given the verbosity of this book.
