I want to feel good when I complete a story & am a little harsh on depressing ones. There are a few sad ones that I love but not many.

Why is red meat red? How do they decaffeinate coffee? Do you wish you understood the science of food but don't want to plow through dry, technical books? In What Einstein Told His Cook, University of Pittsburgh chemistry professor emeritus and award-winning Washington Post food columnist Robert L. Wolke provides reliable and witty explanations for your most burning food questions, while debunking misconceptions and helping you interpret confusing advertising and labeling.

Ok, this is a bit like a textbook but if you are really into the science of food or just wonder about some if the myths/facts about what you eat this is a really good listen.
Look, it is not a story. If you are looking for a story you really need to look elsewhere. If you love to cook you may find this book as fascinating as I did.

Join the Army and See the Universe. That is the motto of The Third Space War, also known as The First Interstellar War, but most commonly as The Bug War. In one of Robert Heinlein's most controversial best sellers, a recruit of the future goes through the toughest boot camp in the universe - and into battle with the Terrain Mobile Infantry against mankind's most alarming enemy.

I really love this story, but I just could not get past the narrator. Flat and never seemed to be in character. The voice never seem to match the character to a point that I was not ever able to believe it.not a bad narrator, just not the right choice for the story.

In this no-holds-barred account, bestselling author Patrick Robinson reveals for the first time the entire story, from the night the SEALs stormed the al-Qaeda desert stronghold to the accusations and legaltwists and turns that followed to the cut-and-thrust drama in the court room where the fate of three American heroes hung in the balance.

  • President Me: The America That's in My Head

In President Me, Carolla shares his vision for a different, better America free from big issues like big government down to small problems like hotel alarm clock placement. Running on an anti-narcissism platform, President Carolla calls for a return to the values of an earlier time when stew and casserole were on every dinner table and there were no “service dogs” on airplanes. President Me hits right at the heart of what makes our country really annoying, and offers a plan to make all of our lives, but mostly Adam’s, much better.

I know Carolla is a comedian and I know he is joking about some of the topics but he hits the nail directly on the head.
This book will not sit well with liberals and people who take themselves too seriously. He comes off as a racist and insensitive. Oh well! It is very funny and takes topics on directly in your face.
I am able to look past the fact that he is saying the things that some don't want to say and that he does point out things most want to brush under the rug and see the bigger point. He has made a very funny book that addresses real issues.
I will definitely be looking into more from Carolla.

I really hoped this would wrap up the series and now I see a presale for book 4. I don't see where this story can go. I don't know if I will be listening to book 4. I didn't like this one as much as the rest. I think the plot was a little weak and I didn't care for the ending but it was worth it. I feel like any others in this series might be a stretch.
