This book is by far one of the best that I have ever heard. I already knew I would like the book as I have read it in the past. This audio production brings the book to a different, more alive level. The different voices for the various characters is very well done.
This book blew me away. I've shopped at Wal-Mart for years and am a "conflicted" buyer. Although I've had doubts about my Wal-Mart experiences in terms of conflict of conscious, this book distilled those chaotic thoughts into coherent logic. I have a lot to think about especially from a socially responsible point of view. The book is easy to understand and very well written.
As a medical professional, I was fasinated by this story. The story was sobering especially as we may be facing a similar panepidemic. I think the author provided excellent detail and good explainations. I enjoyed this book very much and would highly recommend it. The reader was very good. Although there may have been a slight list, it didn't detract at all from the experience.
I have really enjoyed this translation. The narration is excellent and keeps one's attention. The concerns raised below regarding the actual translation are basically made by people who have no appreciation of God's view of men and woman. This translation uses terms such as "people" rather than "man"; this is consistant with all of scripture which holds the view that all are equal before God, not that men are more like God as compared to women.
