The stories in each of the person's own words are very well told, but the author must be British, because the stories are edited to be from a British background even when they are stories from an American. For instance, a person from Baltimore, MD talks about going to Junior School. This must be American Junior High or Middle School, and Junior School must a British term. I found this kind of editing many times. It's okay, but you may have to listen to a passage a couple of times to understand what the person is talking about. Other than that, the reader does sound a little bored or annoyed at times which is just what British readers sound like sometimes. It's a good book with a great number of NDE's to mull over.
