    Story

The Spandau Diary -- what was in it? Why did the secret intelligence agencies of every major power want it? Why was a brave and beautiful woman kidnapped to get it? Why did a chain of deception and violent death lash out across the globe, from survivors of the Nazi past to warriors in this new conflict about to explode? Why did the world's entire history of World War II have to be rewritten as the future hung over a nightmare abyss?

    Corinne says: "Excellent and intense"
    "Simply Awesome!!!"

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

If you have never listened to Dick Hill perform, then you need to. Mr. Hill really makes the characters come alive!

What other book might you compare The Last Coyote: Harry Bosch Series, Book 4 to and why?

Many of the Harry Bosch mysteries are very good. I highly recommend them!

What about Dick Hill’s performance did you like?

Oh, man. He is simply the best, in my opinion. He does so many different voices that I often believe there are many actors reading the book!

    Any additional comments?

    Very enjoyable!

In 1919, Delano, Georgia, appoints its first chief of police. Honest and hardworking, the new chief is puzzled when young men start to disappear. But his investigation is ended by the fatal blast from a shotgun. Delano's second chief-of-police is no hero, yet he is also disturbed by what he sees in the missing-persons bulletins. In 1969, when Delano's third chief takes over, the unsolved disappearances still haunt the police files.

What made the experience of listening to Chiefs the most enjoyable?

Although this story started out slow, I soon was hooked on all the characters and the mystery.

What did you like best about this story?

This story covers three generations of families, so it was really interesting to follow the characters as they aged.

Which character – as performed by Mark Hammer – was your favorite?

    Will Henry Lee.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, the end of the first segment (I won't spoil it). Quite an unexpected ending!

    Any additional comments?

I've just started listening to Stuart Woods. Now he is one of my favorite authors!
