Really looking forward to this one. But a big mistake. Quality of this recording is really really bad. I gave this more than an hours listen, then I stopped and gave up.

Of all Charles Dickens' novels, this is perhaps the most revealing, both of Dickens himself and of the society of his time. It is little wonder that Dickens said of it, "of all my books I like this the best; like many fond parents I have in my heart of hearts a favorite child. And his name is David Copperfield."

Benedict says: "Again, just so, so wonderful"
    "Tremendous"
    Overall

Sad when this listen came to an end. Dickens creates a huge number of interesting characters and this reader gets the job done bringing them all to life. What he does with the character of Uriah Heap was a big highlight of this book for me. Tremendous.
