Some people don't like Frederick Davidson (aka David Case) but I really think he was cut out for reading Bertie Wooster. I enjoyed every minute of this.

Maybe it's because I fell asleep many times while listening to this book on my morning bus commute but I have no idea what happened here other than a vague outline. Yes, I got the characters and the premise of the book was pretty interesting but it skips from past to present to waaay past back to present to lots of other times in between, without a lot of clues. You really have to follow the characters to know where you are. If you are prone to falling asleep on your morning commute while listening to audio books, I would say this one is not for you.

First published in the UK in May 1919, My Man Jeeves is a compilation of short stories by P. G. Wodehouse. Of the eight stories in the set, half presents the famous characters Jeeves and Bertie Wooster, whereas the others concern Reggie Pepper, an early prototype for Wooster.

    "I agree with Katherine."

Entirely. There were no other British men in the entire world available to read this? Look elsewhere for this story, I am sure SOMEONE out there with an English accent has recorded it.

It all started with a birthday present that Omri didn't want: a small plastic Indian that was no use to him at all. But an old wooden cupboard and a special key brought his unusual toy to life, and strange and wonderful things began to happen.

I loved this book. Really, really well narrated in my opinion. Using this story to introduce my children to audio books. Plus, I don't mind listening to it again (and again, as kids are wont to do).

I got this book to listen to while wrapping presents for Christmas. It is fast paced and doesn't always flow well but the premise is fun and it makes you want to read more about the main character.

Why would you want to listen to Wodehouse read with an American accent? No matter how well he reads it, it never rang true.
