The book is well written, but it didn't have any take-aways for me. As long as you apply a little common sense, and try to be likeable, then this book doesn't really have to much going for it. If you have trouble being likeable, then this would be a great read.
If you have common sense, then skip this book. I did not take one takeaway from this book. It is filled with absolutes such as, "Resumes are a new form of spam". Yes, people an lie on their resumes, but they are necessary unless the interviewer already knows the applicant. The book is filled with examples like these. The author had no golden gems. It is a book filled with random 3 minute examples of how to do things a little bit better.
Practical solutions to creating a lifestyle that you desire. It is funny, inspiring, and it actually teaches you things that you NEED to know that aren't common sense.
His other book, The eMyth Revisited, is much better! This book was a long story, kinda boring, and less factual.
Well rounded audio book. Highly recommend it. Great for first time Revelation readers. Opened up my mind to a lot!
This book talks about how the future of marketing has shifted from product development (marketing 1.0), to customer satisfaction (marketing 2.0), to the satisfaction of humanity as a whole (marketing 3.0).
It is safe to say that this book is founded on truth. We can simply look at other organizations that are already using these principles, such as Tom's Shoes, Sevenly, and TheSharity.
This is a great book for any social good, cause marketing type of organization as well as a prophetic warning/encouragement to already established organizations.
I think the overall concept of this book was well worth the money and time listening to it. Not getting this book could cost you your time, investment, and suck the life out of your dream.
This book gives you a road map of how to correct your service/product as early as possible, before it's to late.
There are many more books on Audible that will help you more in marketing. This is more of an introduction.
