Yes! This is a fantastic story! It is so much better in audio too with all the accents and excitement! OMG, it was like I had my back turned to the TV!
The 1st of this series, Blood Debt! I fell in love with this series from listening to Blood Debt! I was thrilled to see book 2 came out in audio too!
Teri is a superb reader. Her Irish accents were awesome! The proper pronunciations & all the excitement! This book had me on the edge of my seat. Terri is also a master at multiple voices!
Paranormal meets mythology, a love story in the making!
I so love this series! Before hearing book 1, Blood Debt, I had never even heard of the author Nancy Straight. Now I want to read all her books!!! She write a tantalizing & exiting edge-of-your-seat paranormal. I have learned so much about centaurs too!
A very enjoyable story about the life of a woman and where her paths take her throughout her life.
Olivia met Jack during spring break one year & started dating. Later Jack became a doctor and asked Olivia to marry him. Since that day, Olivia & Jack bought a home, had a child and both had great careers. Olivia always wanted to write though and Jack had talked her out of it.
After Jack died, Olivia got a letter offering her a job as assistant editor to his newspaper.
Olivia shows us it's never too late to reach our goals. If there is anything we always wanted to do, but never got around to it, we can still do it..
The Author of this book Jacqueline Coote did a great job in writing this book. The plot is interesting and kept my attention. I like how Ms Coote keeps encouraging women in reaching for their goals. It's never too late and Tea Can Wait.
The Narrator, Marie Hoffman did a great job reading this book. The voice was soothing and her multiple voices were spot on.
I have read this book in the kindle version. Listening to it again on audio is like hearing a whole new book. The narration breathes life into this tale as all audio books do. The voices help us envision the characters & make the story so much more real! This would be a great book to listen to on your way to work or even while you are out for a walk! Good job ladies!
I loved Bella!
This book is about several smaller stories of things that go wrong in everyday life. From discussing the newest gadgets for the kitchen, to trips to the hardware store, to planning meal or family gathering, to past jobs. What can go wrong, can & will.
I really enjoyed listening to this story. I could picture an Aunt or a Cousin actually doing the speaking. Very witty & quirky with the words. I had to chuckle when the entire family chimed in "Not the hardware store"! It kind of reminded me of stories Erma Bombeck used to say. I loved her stories too!
What a treat this book turned out to be! The author, Barbara Venkataraman is quite a comedian, finding humor in her everyday life. The Narrator, Carrie Lee Martz did a great job telling the tale to us with wonderful humor in the voices and wonderful accents when needed. A short book with a big POW! Well done ladies!
WOW, great story! It made me look at the lesbian life in a whole new light. I had no idea that relationships didn't last as long as heterosexual, nor did I even think of how others would see it. It is always good to view life from all sides.
This is a story about a woman who's marriage was annulled due to her being frigid which turned out that she is a lesbian and didn't know it. We follow along with Rhoda as she explores the world of being a lesbian and into self discovery.
The author, Lawrence Block did a great job portraying the story here with a realistic look at the lives of several lesbians. The narrator, Emily Beresford did a great job with the reading. I love how she can do so many different voice and nail accents and all. This book opened my eyes. Good job to you both!
Wow! I just finished listening to this book & I loved it!!! It was funny, witty, imaginative and erotic. Just how all adult fairy tales should be. The Author, A Violet End was brilliant in her story telling and she has a freaking fantastic narrator, Marascha Black, who made this so realistic & fun to listen too! Even the singing is good. Listening to this book was like listening to a movie.
Annora, is a young woman who lost her mother & is living the life of Cinderella. A fairy man she meets in her home, whom she refers to as Charming, is teaching her the ways of a woman. Annora falls for Charming, but Charming must get her ready for the Prince Phillip. Charming has so many plans & they all include Annora in them.
This book totally had my interest. I even found parts that had my laughing. All in all it is a fun book! The narrator is fantastic!!! Kudos to both author & narrator for a job well done!
By the way, this book would be fun to listen too with a partner too! Yes it has sex in it, but the story itself is wildly entertaining. Combine the narrator with the author and the story becomes explosive!
I really enjoyed this story! It was strange & different & even fun! This book is about healers and spirits and the unknown, but is told to us in a very enjoyable, fun format! Morgan has been seeing orbs, lights and strange things for as long as she can remember. Morgan is a world traveler and has decided to settle down with something new, so she buys a farm & turns it into a Bed & Breakfast. Morgan';s friends convince Morgan to write a book about her past & family life as Morgan has a unique way with words. Later at an Authors event Morgan meets Yuri. Yuri has many strange things about him that draws Morgan to him.
Morgan offers Yuri a job for the winter at her B&B. Yuri teaches Morgan more about her powers. Most of all, Yuri teaches Morgan life is never really over, it just changes into something else!
Kudos to both the author Marcia Breeze who did a wonderful job writing this. The plot was great & the story held my interest for sure. Also to the Narrator, Rosemary Benson who has a wonderful voice. The accents were spot on. I really enjoyed listening to her. Good job ladies!
What a great story! It had action, adventure, mystery, humor, danger & even recipes! This book is fully loaded! I especially liked the recipes. The recipes made me imagine the cake, brownies & other goodies like I could taste them!
A wonderful adventure thru a wedding, a murder and even more danger. I loved the plot. This story had so many twists and turns in it, always had me guessing who could be the murderer. The narrator was fantastic! What an awesome voice!!!
The ending & whodunit? Well, I didn't see that coming! I love how the author wrote this story with so much heart & humor too! Poor Delilah, she sure got tossed around. Honey & Tess were great! Tess is my favorite character of all. Tess is witty & adventurous and can cook too! Well done & Kudos to both the author & the narrator.
Exciting Paranormal Romance
I don't like to compare books to others because if someone didn't like the book I compared it to, they wouldn't like this book on that basis and that isn't fair. All books should be judged individually!
I would have to say Starla (pretty name too). Starla is kind, sweet, romantic & devoted! She can be hot tempered too. Starla knows what she wants & isn't going to take crap from anyone.
I love this series! I love how I keep meeting up with familiar characters from previous books. This book caught my attention from beginning & held my interest all the way through the story. The plot is great. The sex scenes are really hot! I enjoyed listening to Pyper Down's multiple voices and the accents are awesome & spot on! The french accents rocked! I truly enjoy reading these books written by CL Quinn! What a great story teller she is!
Exciting Paranormal Adventure
The ending was just awesome. To see everything come full circle.
Laurel Schroeder breathes life into the stories. hat is what narrators do. Adding adventure & excitement in the vocals, gives all new meanings to words.
It kept me on the edge of my seat.
What a creative imagination! This author just floors me with her stories. This last book of the series I listened to straight thru today. This story is edgy and exciting & a definite page turner! Kudos to both author & narrator for a job well done!
It ranks right up at the top with the best of them!
I like 2 characters, both Lauren & Max. Lauren who faces all the crap & the fights head on. Even though she fears the beast, she would rather he take her, than take her family. Max, who is so in love with Lauren that he would trade his life to the beast in exchange they the beast leave Lauren alone. There is so much love between these two, it's just awesome!
Same as above. I like Lauren & Max both!
When Lauren realized Joe's Grandson was her lost Max & Max realized Lauren was out of her coma. It was Epic!
Wow, just wow! The imagination it took to write this story is just incredible! To be able to keep going backwards and re-writing to tell Lauren to remind Max of things, along with the good & the bad powers and beasts & serial killers! OMG! It is funny how 1 things sets off so many more things in time, like dominoes.
Yes, This is a great book! Audio has so much more to offer than books in print. With audio, we get accents, proper pronunciations, excitement & hands free to do other things while listening such as chores. My friends who love erotica would love this book too!
When Nick came back for a visit incognito and Ava realized it was him. At 1st she only thought he was a stranger following her until he spoke.
Melissa Huso did a great job narrating this story. She delivered it with lots of excitement & did so flawlessly. I enjoyed listening to her multiple voices.
Erotic Romance at it's finest.
The author, Jocelyn Han did a great job on this book & this series as a whole. I enjoyed listening to this tale. I enjoy when a series picks back up with a previous story so I can relate to it. The plot was well written & the sex was hot!
