Yes! This is a fantastic story! It is so much better in audio too with all the accents and excitement! OMG, it was like I had my back turned to the TV!
The 1st of this series, Blood Debt! I fell in love with this series from listening to Blood Debt! I was thrilled to see book 2 came out in audio too!
Teri is a superb reader. Her Irish accents were awesome! The proper pronunciations & all the excitement! This book had me on the edge of my seat. Terri is also a master at multiple voices!
Paranormal meets mythology, a love story in the making!
I so love this series! Before hearing book 1, Blood Debt, I had never even heard of the author Nancy Straight. Now I want to read all her books!!! She write a tantalizing & exiting edge-of-your-seat paranormal. I have learned so much about centaurs too!
OMG, at the top!!! I love this series so much! The narrator is fantastic! I am so grateful the same narrator was in all the books. She did an outstanding job!
Cami and Drake are my favorite characters. I am so glad Cami followed her heart! Cami is an good person, Centauride & intelligent to boot! Drake, couldn't make a better guardian to Cami. The two of them are so much in love. Cam i has all the powers and abilities that the other Centaurs have individually. Cami makes a great leader too. The ending made me cry. The book is that good!
Teri's narrations in this entire series is spot on. She delivers these stories beautifully! Every book in this series had me on the edge of my seat. So much going on in each book, that if you walk away, you miss something important.
Yes, but I started late at night so read it n 2 days. The knowledge of Mythology through out this series was fantastic too!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this combination of narrator Teri Schnaubelt and author Nancy Straight. The two people together are magical like a love story! Nancy Straight has a fabulous imagination to write about all of this stuff. There wasn't a boring moment anywhere in this series! I needed tissues for the ending. I love it when a book is so good, it makes me cry! Good job ladies!
Absolutely! Print books can't even compete with the audio version. The narrator did a fabulous job once again. The accents, the voices, the proper pronunciations, the excitement! No way can I get any of that from reading a book on my own. An audiobook is like listening to a movie only better as we all know the book is always better!
I loved it when Daniel made Drake so angry that he changed back into a man. Daniel did this as a favor for Cami, his best friend that he also loves. That moment when Drake was once again a man was awesome! I was so happy to see Cami happy again!
In the end, when all of Cami's family stood together to fight off the Enforcers. When Cami sent the last Enforcer to go back and deliver a message that the Lost Herd is coming back, accept them or else!
Mythology at it's finest!
I just love this series! I love the narrator's multiple voices in it. I love all the excitement and all the references to mythology. I love the excitement in this book and the entire series! The author, Nancy Straight did a fantastic job once again, keeping me glued to my seat listening to this book. The narrator, Terri Schnaubelt if awesome with all her voices. Every sentence holding just enough excitement to keep us listening! Kudos to both ladies! Onto book 4!
Something Wicked ranks right up there with the best books. I enjoyed listening to it!
Yes! Loads of twists & turns in this book to keep you on the edge of your seat. The cult was quite haunting.
I love Nigel's voice! Even better, I love how many multiple voices he did in the bok and the sound effects he did, such as a quieter voice when thoughts were in his head & the way voices drifted off when people were talking!
It spooked me. Some parts made me laugh. I loved the detective work & all the foot trails the detective followed.
Listening to this book was great! I really enjoyed the story & plot itself along with the delivery by the narrator. Nigel breathed additional life into this story with all his voices and sounds!
Yes, I feel it would make a great Halloween Poem.
Make the most of your precious time. This tell us how precious life is & how we should savor it.
Yes, it is only 2 minutes.
I liked the added music & sound effects! The audio breathes life into this poem (as with all audiobooks). The narrator has a perfect voice for this poem. I can see it being used on Halloween for parties and trick or treat-rs via speaker as families walk up to a house. I can also see this poem (in audio version) being used in school when poetry is the subject. Well done Edward Petty (author) and Jim Morris (narrator).
Yes! I previously read this book in eBook format & let me tell you... in audio format, this book comes to life! I could never interpret a book the way narrators do. It was like I had never read if before (though I had). The narrator (Andrea) had me on the edge of my seat! I felt like I was listening to a movie, only better because the book is ALWAYS better!
I don't compare book because if a person doesn't like the book I compared it to, then they won't like this right off the bat & that isn't fair. All books should be judged individually.
No, I haven't. This is my first listen by Andrea Emmes & I feel she did a good job too! I loved her multiple voices and that New York / Bronx accent Karmen's best friend had! My favorite scene is in the woods where Karmen & Jacob plot a way to end this. I liked Jacob a lot too!
Yes, but I started it late one night, so I had to finish it the next day!
I am floored! Like I said I had read the eBook format of this story. When I read it, it surely didn't sound like it does now! I love Ashley Fontainne's books. There is never a dull moment & she always keeps me on the edge of my seat. The plot, OMG had so many twists and turns in it. This book is one of her best story yet! Both ladies did a fabulous job. It is a book I will remember for a long time! I intend to listen to it again, maybe around Halloween!
Delightfully witty entertainment.
I loved how the two MacGregor brothers fit in their nicknames perfectly as Donkey! one is the head & the other is the tail. A perfect fit!
I loved it when the MacGregor brothers thought they saw Bigfoot for real and ran for their lives!
I laughed a lot! A very well written witty story. It is funny to see how hard people will work to create a hoax & the efforts they will go to make it believable!
This is a very enjoyable book! It has a great storyline & plot. Parts of this book even had me talking back to them saying how could you not see that coming? The Author, Edward J McFadden III did a really great job getting the point across in this book. The narrator, Jack de Golia delivered another superb story, with all his multiple voices! Good job guys!
Yes! I love this book & this series!!! It has everything a paranormal lover is looking for in it! Excitement, adventure, sex, a great plot, humor. What more can a girl ask for, unless it is a vampire of her own!
I don't like to compare books because if someone didn't like the book I compared this too, they wouldn't like this book either and each book should be judged individually!
When Eillia found out she was pregnant & in her world, that is very rare. I could feel all the emotions coming from her when she found out, after being barren for thousands of years.
Yes, but since it was afternoon when I started the book, I finished it the next day.
Great storyline, great plot. I love this series so far! This is the 4th book I have read by author C L Quinn / T C Butts & she has never disappointed me! This lady has such a wonderful imagination to keep a story going on into a long series - just amazing! The narrator, Natalie Duke did a pretty good job too in delivering this story to us. I could never create so many voices or even get the pronunciations right on my own had I read it myself from print! Good job ladies!!!
OMG yes! Print can't even compare to audio. It's like apples to oranges. Print being the apples and audio being the oranges, oh so juicy & succulent! No comparison! The accents were fantastic. I could never have pronounced all those names or done the accents myself. The narrator did a wonderful job!
I don't like to compare books as if someone didn't like the book I compared it too, then they instantly wouldn't like this & that isn't fair. Each book should be judged on it's own.
I loved all the accents. The French accents, the Irish accents. Piper did a real bang up job! (Excellent job).
It made me smile & blush a lot. Hearing how badly David had been tortured over 30 years time made me want to cry for him! I was thrilled to see this book take off with Cherise! Seeing Park, Bas & Cohen again was nice too. I love to see characters carried over into other books. it's like seeing old friends.
What a great story. Exciting to say the least. Wonderful plot. I look forward to the next book in this series! What a wonderful imagination this author has!!!
The witty humor & the sex! I loved it!!!
I like Park a lot, but I also like Cherise. Cherise is wise beyond her years. She knows everything & can sense everything too! I love her accent. Oh & Bas... I want a Bas of my own!!!
Lauren does tons of different voices. he accent are great & her french accent is wonderful!
Yes I would, but it is a long book & sleep conquered me, so I didn't.
This is a really great book! An interesting read, indeed. I wouldn't listen to it around other people if you can't hide your blushing. The author, C L Quinn did a fabulous job! This lady can write!!! The narrator did a bang up job too! Kudos to you both. It really makes me want to be a vampire or at least have a vampire of my own! (blush)
Yes. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book. I loved the southern accents in it too. Lots of adventure, danger & romance in it & sealed with a happy ending. Quite pleasant on the ears!
1) The part where it says "Kittya Kat , Wake up! Nola baby!" This section had so much excitement in it, it made me remember that kind of excitement before heading out on a trip. I can feel all that excitement!
2) When Dad flew mason out to surprise Kat in California! His Cali girl.
I liked Kat best. That poor girl was put through the wringer. She never knew who she could trust or who was a real friend. Kat is a very likable character.
When Kat's best friend hit her own father over the head with a lamp & saved Kat's life. That moment made my heart flop. Kat then realized the friend she thought she lost really was her friend!
This story is well written. The plot is exciting & adventurous & dangerous. Romance is in the air too. Well done Author Jennifer Davis! The narrator, Meghan Kelly's voices are spot on. I absolutely loved all the southern voices & twang making this book feel so realistic! Kudos to you both!
