    Yes. Right when I thought I figured it out another hiccup. Great plot.

    Laugh and cry. A little of both. I guess more laugh and sad. Not tearful.

    Yes because it was one of Johnson' s best. It also was fast pace and kept you on the edge of your seat.

    Yes. The book moved from character to character and kept you guessing on the bad guy or girl or both!!


    Have you listened to any of George Guidall’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    Yes. One of his best. He does a great job with Walt's and Victoria's voice!


    Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    Victoria always makes me laugh.

    Being this one of his best, I am eagerly waiting his next one!

    I plan to read all of the series. This was an especial good mixture of love, mystery and some politics! What a mixture! But Berry brought it all together just right!

    Dismas is a great lawyer. The plot was terrific.


    What about David Colacci’s performance did you like?

    He is great. I am spoiled with his narration. I read only his for John Lescroart.

    Samatha Dolan. She was a determined detective.

    The eye witness with her buddy Jack.

    A great listen with a great but yet surprising ending. The ending being a surprise but yet a little sad. I am glad I chose this one.

    In the top 20. It was a great listen. I highly recommend this book.

    How I could never figure out the ending. Just when I did, the ruthless one changed.
