I never read any Robin Cook books. I was really impressed with the last two - Cure and Marker. I love George Guidall, he does an amazing job. I have grown to love Jack Stapleton and Laurie Montgomery.... I'm hooked on Robin Cook now

To be irrevocably in love with a vampire is both fantasy and nightmare, woven into a dangerously heightened reality for Bella Swan. Pulled in one direction by her intense passion for Edward Cullen, and in another by her profound connection to werewolf Jacob Black, she has endured a tumultuous year of temptation, loss, and strife to reach the ultimate turning point.

I didn't want to become involved in the Twilight Series craze.... but I decided to go ahead and give it a shot.

I was really surprised! I'm not weird crazy about it like my Mom..... but these books were a lot better than I thought they'd be. I actually want to cry when I think of all that has happened with these characters.

I'm hooked. Now I just need to watch the movies.

This is the way the world ends: with a nanosecond of computer error in a Defense Department laboratory and a million casual contacts that form the links in a chain letter of death. And here is the bleak new world of the day after: a world stripped of its institutions and emptied of 99 percent of its people. A world in which a handful of panicky survivors choose sides - or are chosen.

I will admit - all my life I've been scared of this book just because of how long it is. But when I decided to go ahead and listen to it.... I was really surprised. Now I understand why everyone says "Yeah it's long but so what? It's good"

I will never forget these characters and their stories.... this is by far the best book I've read by Stephen King. The narration is awesome, too.

Roland Deschain and his ka-tet are bearing southeast through the forests of Mid-World, the almost timeless landscape that seems to stretch from the wreckage of civility that defined Roland's youth to the crimson chaos that seems the future's only promise. Followers of Stephen King's epic series know Roland well, or as well as this enigmatic hero can be known. They also know the companions who have been drawn to his quest for the Dark Tower: Eddie Dean and his wife, Susannah; Jake Chambers; and Oy.

I don't know why I waited so long to read the Dark Tower series. Maybe because it was a series and I'm not really into them..... but this one has me saying, "I need to hear Rowland today....." and so I listen.

I was VERY disappointed to hear someone else narrating this one. I like both guys, George Guidall and Frank Muller -but I was used to the way Frank did everyone's voices.

My first thought was - I'm going to complain when I go to write a review.

And then I heard the author's note at the end of the book. My heart goes out to Frank Muller and his family - it's sad we will not hear from him again.

Well, got the next book to get started on. I can't imagine that this series will end :(

It's a fear more paralyzing than falling. More terrifying than absolute darkness. More horrifying than anything you can imagine. It's the one fear you cannot escape, no matter where you run...no matter where you hide. It's the fear of yourself. It's real. It can happen to you. And facing it can be deadly.

Dohna says: "Koontz did it again......."

    Overall

This is my first Dean Koontz book EVER. I loved it! The narration was really good. The story line was REALLY good. As someone who suffers from mental illness, I was able to relate to the characters and their "irrational" fears.

There were so many parts of the book that made my eyes pop out of my head. I couldn't believe the twists and was totally into the story. I was not disappointed and am now looking for another Koontz book.

They were just kids when they stumbled upon the horror of their hometown. Now, as adults, none of them can withstand the force that has drawn them all back to Derry, Maine, to face the nightmare without end, and the evil without a name.

    Overall

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Steven Weber as narrator. I don't know how he does it... but he just makes sense and does a compelling job with this horrifying book. Stephen King's best that I've read. Compared to his newer books - this one is in the old style of King... ruthless, vulgar - and SCARY. Masterpiece.

When Dr. Craig Bowman is served with a summons for medical malpractice, he's shocked, enraged, and more than a little humiliated. A devoted physician who works continuously in the service of others, he endured grueling years of training and is now a partner in an exclusive concierge medical practice. No longer forced to see more and more patients while spending less and less time with each one just to keep his office door open, he now provides the kind of medical care he is trained to do.

    "Good book"
    Overall

I enjoyed this book a lot. Kept me entertained. The only problem I saw with it was waiting on the real plot. I didn't think a whole book could be written about one malpractice case and it be so long when it should have been really simple. I could re-write this book in one page. However, I love Robin Cook and the narrator is awesome.
