Yes, because it does a superb job of setting the atmosphere and drawing the reader into the events of the sacking of Coruscant.
Fatal Alliance was equally as riveting.
Finding T7, he is one of my favorite companions in the game. His sense of humor is present on the book and made me smile.
I laughed, I cried, and I got upset. Seriously, I enjoyed the whole novel immensely.
Made me cry, cherish my husband, and by far one of the best books, and series, of my reading life.
A beautifully crafted story with amazing characters. Don't miss out on this trilogy because of the subject matter, you would be missing out on phenomenal writing and engrossing storytelling.
First novel by Deb Harkness and it was truly exceptional both in its storytelling and its pacing. I cannot wait to listen to the next installment in the trilogy.
Yes, great complex story about the beginnings of the Jedi order, a time before they utilized light sabers.
Lanoree simply because she is brave, fearsome, determined, and balanced.
If you are expecting light sabers, dueling blasters, or the dark side you will be disappointed but if the origins of the Jedi hold interest or the Gree do, then this book is highly recommended.
I would recommend it because it is part of the series but it isn't nearly as compelling as other entries into the series. Don't get me wrong, I love the writing of Steve Berry and Cotton Malone as a character. This was just my least favorite so far.
As always, Scott Brick's performance was fabulous.
Sound, voices, atmosphere
Yes even though I broke it up into a couple of sittings. It was as compelling as a movie for me, the characters and settings were beautifully done and the atmosphere of events came to life.
Mike Lawson consistently tells a compelling story that doesn't require ridiculous leaps of faith on the part of the reader and believable, likable characters.
Narrator is dry and monotone for my tastes.
Middle of the road
Unsure, the story was slow and dragged on which is unfortunate since Revan is a beloved character from the games and the book left more questions than it should have.
Frustrating book, good but frustrating
I like James Patterson. However, this is a waste of his talents. I never thought it would end. Characters are contrived, story line is incoherent, unrealistic, poorly written, and a waste of money and time. In short, Patterson is capable of much better than this drivel!
