Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this audiobook to a friend and I have already.
It makes you imagine; 'what if this really happens."
This is one of the very few books I stayed up all night to listen to.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

The plot was realistic, not far fetched and the stories of the different families or people involved were cleaverly developed. You just want to keep on listening to find out how it will all end. The narrator did a great job!

Which character – as performed by R. C. Bray – was your favorite?

My favorite was the lawyer who changed jobs, I could not imagine how a transition like that could happen and how things would end for and his family.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There was no part that was not moving to me but the most moving part was when the pieces if the story was being put together.

    Any additional comments?

This is a must read or should I say a must listen.

America's most proficient covert operations team, hand-picked for its intelligence, analysis, and crisis-management skills, has had many a tough situation thrown at it. Years ago, before North Korea made its belligerent intentions known to the world, Op-Center's first mission was to thwart a crisis on the Korean peninsula. Since then, it has dealt with the machinations of Russian hard-liners, prevented the resurgence of age-old hatred in Germany, gone underground to prevent Kurdish terrorists from destabilizing the Middle East, subjugated the tensions of rebellious Basques....

What did you like best about Sea of Fire? What did you like least?

I'm not really able to say because I could not bring myself to finish listening to the book. The narrator was very good but the script was unbearable.

Has Sea of Fire turned you off from other books in this genre?

Yes, it could have turned me off Tom Clancy's books but I have listened to a few others of his books which were very interesting.

Have you listened to any of Michael Kramer’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to other performances of Michael Kramer before and they have always been phenomenon. He performed very well here but this script was a really bad one. After every sentence the author would write: "He said, she said, he responded ..." and these became rather unbearable to listen to after a while, so I decided to return the book.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

I would like to see it as I know the actors will not use the script word for word. I believe the story is a good one. I usually listen to my books after a long day at work to unwind and relish an exciting world of fantasy and not to be stressed out with an annoying repetitive cliche.

    Any additional comments?

Do not be put off Tom Clancy's book by this one, he has many more you can enjoy.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

If you like Lee Child I would recommend it especially because the narrator is great but the story is just okay.

Would you be willing to try another book from Lee Child? Why or why not?

For now, I think I've had enough of Jack Reacher series.

What does Dick Hill bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Dick Hill makes the story come alive and having gotten used to his voice it's as if Lee Child was telling me the story.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    Not really.
