Feels like this is a Carl Hiaasen wannabe, there are others out there too. More grit than wit.
More realistic characters and events.
All the time spent explaining marvelous skills, which wer humanly impossible.
Narration was fine.
The realistic characters and true insight.
A great voice and the plus is he is the author.
The newer works are much better, yes.
No but I will pay more attention to the copyright date.
Good, talented, capable.
Story was intersting at times.
Just really disliked the Davenport character in this book...or should I say lack of character?
Probably a better read than listen, found the pace to be quite slow for this Superhero.
Better read than listen, narrator just lost me.
Great listen, colorful and fresh story with awesome narration.
Interesting story, especially if you live in FL. Some of the quirkiness seems forced and lacks the true ironic flavor of Carl Hiaasen. I think I would have preferred to read this since the narrator's character voice for Serg drove be insane.
Interesting book but the "artistic" liberties taken regarding the supernatural characters were inconsistent and very odd. I seem to be in the minority here but this is a long listen and it dragged on for me.
