This book is highly helpful in that it brings to light a better understanding of your spirited child. Most importantly, it reminds you not to break their big spirit. Rather, the book helps you make changes in your own style of parenting while at the same time reminding yourself that a spirited child is a blessing. Embrace your spirited child and don't allow others to criticize your child because he's not a toe behind the line type of child.
As a parent it's learning my spirited child can either go to the mall shopping with me or the grocery store. Doing both is an option; however, it requires much more understanding and empathy. It's a reminder that questions from spirited children are rapid fire and a reminder to feel blessed that your spirited child has the ability to do so. When I'm asked for that piece of gum and the answer is "no", only to be asked 2 minutes later to see if gum is an option yet, I remind myself "I'm blessed with a spirited child."
Thank you for the assistance. It was a big help.
Completely loved and enjoyed this book. The storyline keeps your attention and commands you to keep listening. It's a reminder you are always three feet from gold. Giving up on a dream is possible and yet at the same time, if dreams were easily achievable, everyone or every business would reach their dreams/goals without struggles.
Yes, it was and I listened to it a few hours a day each day until I was complete.
I recommend this book to everyone I know. It provides a different way of thinking.
Most certainly I will listen to this book again. There are so many great lessons. The underlying message is be professional and also human. No one wants to be sold or feel like they are your next sale. It helps a person remember it's not about you but about the person you are talking to. It's what can you offer to the other person to make their life better.
Personally I enjoyed the speech located in the middle of the book. The message was clear.
It reminds you not only did he write the book but he read his own material. Many use ghost writers and then never read their own material. Eric reading his own book for the audio shows he's true.
Yes, it was.
