Nicole Ashe is the average American girl, except that she happens to work for a vampire and doesn't realize it. But all that changes when her boss sends her to convince a local rock musician – heartthrob, to help them retrieve an ancient relic that could be the answer to the vampire's curse. There is something about Nicole that stirs Alec's hunger nearly beyond control, but he would do anything to protect her...even from himself.

But when her sister goes missing, Ivy discovers the truth is far worse - her hallucinations are real, and her sister is trapped in a parallel realm. And the one person who believes her is the dangerously attractive guy who's bound by an ancient legacy to betray her. I enjoyed this book. It's total different than her other books. So don't expect it to be like her others. While its not quite as good as the others its still good. I love the narrator she is one of my favorites. I think its worth the credit and looking forward to the next one.

I liked the story has a lot of good moments drags a little at times but hold on till the end. It tells several different stories and you sit and wonder why there are stories that seem not to follow the first story but just hold on the author brings it all together into a really complete story. I really enjoyed it a little long but worth the credit. In looking there is a second book that evidently was written I think in 2005 maybe I have not read but it seems like maybe this story is going back before the first book. Its about one of the character in this book. Anyway I hope he comes out with more books with these characters.

Well I love this series but I hate to say it but this book I think fell very short. It was mostly about the to main characters getting together and getting it on if you know what I mean. There was not much of a dramatic story no " meat" to the story. The old characters are barley in it. I miss were there was an actual great story line. I don't know if I'll continue with these stories and I hate that because I've always looked forward to these stories!

He heard the whoosh of something moving quickly through the air, but it hit him before he had time to react. He felt the impact against his head and his whole body flew sideways through the air.

Dying is what changed Mary O'Reilly's life. Well, actually, coming back from the dead and having the ability to communicate with ghosts is really what did it. Now, a private investigator in rural Freeport, Illinois, Mary's trying to learn how to incorporate her experience as a Chicago cop and new-found talent into a real job. Her challenge is to solve the mysteries, get real evidence (a ghost's word just doesn't hold up in court), and be sure the folks in town, especially the handsome new police chief, don't think she's nuts.

When Nina Linden is hired to landscape a private island off the New England coast, she sees it as her chance to rebuild her failing business after being cheated by her unscrupulous ex. She never expects that her new client, software mogul Deacon Whitney, would see more in her than just a talented gardener. Deacon has paid top dollar to the crews he’s hired to renovate the desolate Whitney estate - he had to, because the bumps, thumps, and unexplained sightings of ghostly figures in 19th-century dress are driving workers away faster than he can say “Boo.”

Would you try another book from Molly Harper and/or Amanda Ronconi?

I love, love, love Molly Harper and Amanda Ronconi there one of my favorite teams. But while the story had great potential I didn't like all the different characters perceptions. It lessened what I thank could have made a deeper story line. It was very busy jumping to several different characters points of view.

If you’ve listened to books by Molly Harper before, how does this one compare?

I've listen to all her paranormal books as far as I know and loved them all. This one was a little lacking compared to her other books I've read.

Have you listened to any of Amanda Ronconi’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes and she was great as always. Love her reading!

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

    Probably.

    Any additional comments?

Will It wasn't her best, it was still an ok book to read. It just wasn't one of my favorites.

Would you listen to Blood Bond again? Why?

No, it was good but not as good as the others. Lacked the action her other books had.

If you’ve listened to books by Jeanne C. Stein before, how does this one compare?

Not as good there was much more story in her other books.

What does Dina Pearlman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She fits the character so well. She's a good reader.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    No

    Any additional comments?

I don't know if this is the end of the series I hope not. I hope she comes back ready to do more battles. This seemed like it was tying ever thing off to end the series. I missed the action of her previous books. Sure hope she comes back Ms. Stein is a really good writer. But I would recommend the book just don't expect the action of her previous books.

She was just an ordinary mortal...until death catapulted her into a seductive world she never imagined. "You're dead" is so not what Allie Watson wants to hear. Unfortunately, it explains a lot. Like the dark, angelically handsome man who ferried her to this strange, hidden land. The last thing she remembers is stepping off a curb in front of a cross-town bus. Now she's surrounded by gorgeous fallen angels with an unfortunate taste for blood---and they really don't want her around. Not exactly how she pictured heaven.
