This is the second story in the Anne of Green Gables series. Skinny little red-haired Anne has changed into a pretty 16-year-old and is all grown up - well, sort of grown up. The story opens with Anne as a school teacher at Avonlea school. When Anne reached the school that first morning, she was confronted by prim rows of "shining morning faces". She had sat up until nearly midnight composing a speech which she had revised and improved painstakingly. It was a wonderful speech with fine ideas. And then, she couldn't remember it!

I was surprised no one rated or commented on this audio. The narrator became one of my favorite ever since I listened to it.

i fell in love with gone with the wind ever since i watched the movie with my mom.Vivien Leigh's incredible beauty and perfect acting impressed me. So when i listened to this audio i felt Scarlett is living in that voice. I just could help to listen to it over and over and again.
the only thing annoyed me is the book has such a bad formatting that it's impossible to find the exact chapter break by the table of contents.
