No, I only have time and energy to read a book once.
I can only say that two were my favorites: Donald and Juliette. Both characters were like-like and very 3-dimensional.
Same as above.
I enjoyed each book of the series. It was a lot of story over a lot of time. While long, it was not at all boring. I would recommend this book series to anyone to read.
Probably since I don't like to physically read. I am a good listener though.
It introduces the series since this is book 0.5. I read all but book 5 before listening to this book. (Book 4 has ties to this book.)
Ray Chase is great. I need to check on other books he has narrated.
Enjoy life while you can. Without electricity, quality of life will degrade quickly.
I love the series. I am glad I decided to read the series. As I start on the last book, I wish there was another book in the works.
Absolutely. It was not what I expected. I thoroughly enjoyed the book. This book mentioned some things I never knew or had forgotten. It also made me do some more research to learn more. I didn't know Grover Cleveland was the 22nd and 24th President of the United States. Along with some other tidbits that I will let you explore.
How informative the stories were and how interesting they proved to be.
All of them equally.
No. It was sad to hear about a couple of the suicides.
This is an amazing book. I was surprised to learn of the connection between Lucille Ball and Star Trek. Also the link between Alan Turing and Apple corp. I thought there might be gloom and doom since this is a Glenn Beck book, but I was pleasantly surprised it was otherwise.
It was written in a light, comical manner but still presented good information.
Only one person died that I remember.
It was more of a how to book without any scenery.
It was a good overall book with plenty of good ideas and reminders of what I had learned earlier. It was a nice interruption from the usual apocalyptic books I read.
The action and pace of the two main stories. (Third trailed in at the end.)
How can I tell you without spoiling it for others? All I can say is the re-unions.
All of them. Ray Chase is a joy to listen to. He defines each character. I love the sarcasm.
No extreme reaction that I know of.
Very good book. It felt a bit different than the previous books but I still enjoyed the story. As with any good series of books, you hate to see yourself reaching the end of the series. I am trying not to rush through and enjoy each book.
Somewhere in the middle. It was okay, but it became a story with too much military fiction. The story is very detailed and well written but I was bored by the detail.
Comet. A strong and determined character.
He did a great job defining each character. His individual character voices made each character stand out and were recognizable without introduction.
From Maple King to Galaxy Conqueror.
It is a good read, but I will return to my gloom-and-doom apocalyptic stories. Troy was too serious and had a lot of military detail. Apocalyptic stories are more cheerful.
The disappearance was most interesting. The cats without a face was not.
I have listened to Ray Chase before in Breakers. He's a great narrator.
I read it was being made into a TV series. May watch it but probably won't continue in the audio book series.
If they can get it cheap like I did, sure. Otherwise, probably not.
Probably not. It's more of a lecture series on a topic you would want to listen to / desire to listen to.
Nothing. He presented the material well and in a clean spoken manner.
No. He covered the topic enough for me.
Nope. I am exercising my self control.
Don't actually read for entertainment. I have no idea.
I like "end of the world" stories but this one was fun to listen to. For this type of subject matter, I was surprised I laughed so much. The dark humor was quite funny.
Ray Chase did an excellent job bringing the characters to life. With the dark humor, he played off the lines really well. I will have to see what else Mr. Chase has narrated.
No, but I did finish the story fast for me. I wish there were more stories in the series. I figure I will take a break because I read 1, 2 and 3 pretty quickly, one after another. I will read something else and come back to book 4.
I was surprised that I really enjoyed this series and had quite a few laughs. Hopefully this author has other books I might like.
meh. It was okay. Nothing gained, nothing lost.
It was adequate.
Barely. It was an okay read,
Since it was a little more than an hour long, I figure it doesn't compare to "normal" books.
The fact that they stopped the war for Christmas celebration.
Multiple narrators add life to the story.
Good period piece that we will never experience ever again.
