When Gervase Frant, 7th Earl of St Erth, returns at last from Waterloo to his family seat at Stanyon, he enjoys a less than welcome homecoming.

This is one of my favorite Georgette Heyer books so far! The plot thickens with twists and turns, I was glued to my ipod until I finished it, and I love how she surprises me at the end! Sprig Muslin was great too, and I can't wait for more!

If you could sum up Bewitched, Bothered, and Biscotti in three words, what would they be?

    Spell Binding Fun!

In What Matters in Jane Austen?, John Mullan shows that we can best appreciate Austen's brilliance by looking at the intriguing quirks and intricacies of her fiction. Asking and answering some very specific questions about what goes on in her novels, he reveals the inner workings of their greatness. In 20 short chapters, each of which explores a question prompted by Austen’s novels, Mullan illuminates the themes that matter most in her beloved fiction.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

The subject matter was interesting but the narrator sounded as if he was reading it aloud for the first time during most of the narration, and although I love dear Jane, by the end of it I was trying to just not fall asleep. Only ardent Janeites will be able to get through this one.

"It is a truth universally acknowledged that a zombie in possession of brains must be in want of more brains." So begins Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, an expanded edition of the beloved Jane Austen novel featuring all-new scenes of bone-crunching zombie mayhem.

Katelyn says: "One word - Awesome!"
    "Hilarious! LMAO!"
    Overall

I am an avid Austen fan, and so I wasn't sure if I would like this book, but I thought it was hilarious! I think if you go into this book knowing that it is written to be funny and don't take it too seriously, you will enjoy it too. If you read Jane Austen's letters you can see that she had a great sense of humor herself and was very sarcastic, and I think she may have enjoyed the spirit in which it was written. Very well done!

    "Will put you to sleep!"
    Overall

The information in this book may be interesting and insightful really fantastic, but since the author/narrator is the most boring man on the planet and is not only difficult to understand since he does not speak clearly, he bores me to tears! I love history, but if he was my history professor I am sure I would fail for sleeping the entire lecture. In fact, that is pretty much what this book sounds like. A really really tedious lecture.

Katie MacAlister, best-selling author of paranormal romantic comedies, ignites a devilishly lusty story with Light My Fire. The gorgeous Aisling Grey, introduced in You Slay Me, juggles being a demon lord, a Guardian, and a wyvern's mate all at once - though not always successfully. Recently relocated to London, Aisling and her doggie demon sidekick, Jim, are eager for a fresh start. Drake the hunky dragon, however, has other plans for her.

Deb says: "Hot and sexy but where's the rest of the series?"
    "Love, Love, Love this book!"

This book is action packed, sexy and lots of fun. The author has really brought her invention of a world hidden deep within our own of magic and dragons to life. I love the author and hope audible will carry more of her work!

I thought it was very funny (I got caught laughing out loud at my desk) and sexy. A bit implausible, but all romance novels are, that's why we read them, right? I thought it was a nice light hearted novel that inspires me to go home and bite my husband. In an affectionate way.
