Monk, Hester and all others have contributions to this story, Everyone is warmer and softer, a lot of reference to past stories. Moved slowly, good book but not as good as other Monk books.
Cordell's adventures keep your interest , they usually have several twists and turns and the end is pretty much always a surprise. Enjoyed Ray Porter's narration
and what a narrator, kept me listening hour after hour. It all sounded perfectly logical
but have now listened to them all,I hope Mr. Rosenfelt will give us some more of Andy Carpenter
another good story from an author we have grown to expect good stories from. Thanks
this series is well written and keeps your interest, especially when read by Tony Roberts. I believe he makes a good book great.
well written, characters are further developed and interesting, I like these people. The narrater is excellent, but the story leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
took a chance on a sale book and got a winner. Excellent story well written with superb narration. A joy from the first word to the last. Will certainly be looking for more by both author and narrator
than the first listen. a good story with quite a lot of characters each well defined and brought to life by Tom Stechschulte. Love the conversations this book is made of,pretty sure I will listen to it several times more.
listened to this series first from library downloads which were abridged. Do not care for abridged books but that's all available at the library. The narration however in the abridged was superb and certainly makes this one a poor second. Mr. Guidall's voice and interpretation of the characters is great, but his delivery is just irritating after listening to
Armand Schultz. I so like this series that I want to own them all and will just put up with Guidall, bummer!
Vince Flynn wrote exceptional books, he had a way of telling a story that makes you want to read all day & night and then be sorry when it is over. This book is one of the best reads I have experienced, well all in the series fit that description. George Guidall has a great voice, he is able to make me hear all the different characters but his delivery just drives me crazy for the first few hours, it is slurred and sloppy, then he either gets more crisp or I adjust to it and am able to enjoy the reading.
