Christopher Snow is the best-known resident of 12,000-strong Moonlight Bay, California. This is because 28-year-old Chris has xeroderma pigmentosum (XP), a light-sensitivity so severe that he cannot leave his house in daylight, cannot enter a normally-lit room, cannot sit at a computer.

Am a long haul truck driver, and just recently finished listening to this book. I had listened to Seize the Night last year, and was wondering why some part didnt make sense.

After listening to this I realized it is the first book of a series. I was so enthrawled with the book I couldnt wait to get away from the shipping dock so I could head down the road to finish listening to this book.

A must listen for all Dean Koontz fans.

Audible Please Please Please get Seize the Night. I really want to listen to both books back to back.

was a good story. but I thought the sound track was over powering at times to the voices. it did make it a bit more intersting. but it could have been toned down a bit so one could understand what was being said.

On a brisk autumn day, a 13-year-old boy stands on the shores of the gray Atlantic, near a silent amusement park and a fading ocean resort called the Alhambra. The past has driven Jack Sawyer here: His father is gone, his mother is dying, and the world no longer makes sense. But for Jack everything is about to change. For he has been chosen to make a journey back across America - and into another realm. One of the most influential and heralded works of fantasy ever written, The Talisman is an extraordinary novel of loyalty, awakening, terror, and mystery.

Stephen King's first full-length solo novel since Dreamcatcher, the long-awaited From a Buick 8 is "nearly flawless and one terrific entertainment," says Publishers Weekly. A strange car acts as a conduit between our world and some other...and the boogeyman of this creepy story is our collective fascination with deadly things.

I am an Over the road truck driver, and had the chance to read this book while home on vacation. I loved the book so much I got it in Audio format and listened while driving from Albany NY to Kent, Wa. I was able to pick up more on the audio format from the book than when I read it.

this is another great book from Stephen King. a good book to listen to and keep you wanting to hear how the story ends.
