For Fox, Caleb, Gage and the other residents of Hawkins Hollow, the number seven portends doom - ever since, as boys, they freed a demon trapped for centuries when their blood spilled upon The Pagan Stone.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

    Different narrator.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Didn't get there. Couldn't handle the cadence.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Worst narration I have ever experienced and i've listened to a couple of books voiced by volunteers.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Frustration and anger because of the narration.

    Any additional comments?

I'm sure Nora Roberts and her producers make plenty of money so please don't cut corners when it comes to the talent. The performance is HUGE for an audio book! Duuuhhh!

Former SEAL Michael Harmon, Team Name ''Ghost'', retired for service injuries, is not enjoying college life. But things are about to change, if not for the better. When he sees a kidnapping, a series of, at the time logical, decisions leave him shot to ribbons and battling a battalion of Syrian commandos with only the help of three naked co-eds who answer to the names ''Bambi,'' ''Thumper'' and ''Cotton Tail.'

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

No. Too much bondage with repulsive descriptions. Didn't need it, didn't want it.
Nothing in the description that prepared me for the third of the book that was devoted to the exploration of sadomasochism. It was interesting for a few minutes then I lost all interest.

If you're into seriously graphic gratuitous bondage sex scenes then you will love it. I am not. Good Story, very good Narration but a horrible non sequitur into a bizarre world of co ed/slave sex games that went on way too long. Was this supposed to be character development? You're an ass Ringo. I Thought I liked you. This from a guy who loves Jack Reacher.

Have you listened to any of Jeremy Arthur’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

The performance was great. The story was the problem.

Was Ghost worth the listening time?

    No

Just as Nell starts to wonder if she'll ever be able to break free of her fear, she realizes that the island suffers from a terrible curse - one that can only be broken by the descendants of the Three Sisters, the witches who settled the island back in 1692.

What did you like best about Dance Upon the Air? What did you like least?

I am a guy who is usually drawn toward the typical genres for dudes. Somehow I stumbled upon Nora Roberts. I loved the story and performance for "The Witness" - my first Nora Roberts book - so I was really looking forward to my second submersion... Not sure if it's that the writing has less passion and energy? - it seems very cliche - or if it's that I have a serious dislike for the narration?. It was very old style acting, campy speech by the narrator. Some people may like that style. I don't. *** The dialog and Narration for "The Witness" was fantastic! *** Highly recommend it!

But this time, Honor and her crew, ambushed and captured, are aboard an enemy ship, bound for a prison planet aptly named "Hell" - and her scheduled execution. Yet the one lesson Honor has never learned is how to give up. She and her people are going home--even if it means conquering hell to get there!

I dare you to get through this verbal piece of crape! If one can rejoice in a writer that drones on and on about technicalities that lull you into a catatonic state then you have found your author...... enjoy....... and the narrator is like shards of glass in the ears! Horrible

And there are those who have vowed to destroy it. In the Valley of the Time Tombs, where huge, brooding structures move backward through time, the Shrike waits for them all.
