From 1999 to 2009, U.S. Navy SEAL Chris Kyle recorded the most career sniper kills in United States military history. The Pentagon has officially confirmed more than 150 of Kyles kills (the previous American record was 109), but it has declined to verify the astonishing total number for this book. Iraqi insurgents feared Kyle so much they named him al-Shaitan ("the devil") and placed a bounty on his head.

Was American Sniper worth the listening time?

I really enjoyed the story from Chris Kyle, but there would often be asides from his wife. I didn't use a credit to hear how his wife felt while he was deployed. I wanted to hear the stories of

Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he’s alive—and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plain old "human error" are much more likely to kill him first. But Mark isn't ready to give up yet. Drawing on his ingenuity, his engineering skills—and a relentless, dogged refusal to quit—he steadfastly confronts one seemingly insurmountable obstacle after the next. Will his resourcefulness be enough to overcome the impossible odds against him?"

I really enjoyed this book. It was worth a credit, but doubt I'll listen to it again. The ending seemed rushed and abrupt. Would have liked for the story to continue.

Who is that hairy guy in the green Speedo? Rob Delaney is a father, a husband, a comedian, a writer. He is the author of an endless stream of beautiful, insane jokes on Twitter. He is sober. He is sometimes brave. He speaks French. He loves women with abundant pubic hair and saggy naturals. He has bungee jumped off of the Manhattan Bridge. He enjoys antagonizing political figures. He listens to metal while he works out. He likes to fart. He broke into an abandoned mental hospital with his mother.

Where does Rob Delaney rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This was perhaps one of the most enjoyable audiobooks I've listened too in a long time. Rob narrating really adds to the story as well.

Having been a fan of Rob's Twitter page, and then his stand-up, it's awesome to hear stories about the life experiences that give Rob's comedy its edge.

It's a fun and funny listen, and I've recommended it to everyone I come in contact with.

I hope Rob continues on his trajectory and keeps writing and performing. He is an inspiration.

What would have made Atlas Shrugged better?

The ending is such a let-down!

Would you ever listen to anything by Ayn Rand again?

The Fountainhead is still one of my favorite audiobooks. Christopher Hurt is the best narrator I've had the pleasure of listening to.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

The ending was so cliche and stupid. It was like listening to a friend tell you a joke, and it's just 48 hours of your buddy explaining why the chicken crossed the road. If you are interested in Rand's philosophy of Individualism read the Fountainhead, not Atlas.

At least one-third of the people we know are introverts. They are the ones who prefer listening to speaking, reading to partying; who innovate and create but dislike self-promotion; who favor working on their own over brainstorming in teams. Although they are often labeled "quiet," it is to introverts that we owe many of the great contributions to society--from van Gogh’s sunflowers to the invention of the personal computer.

This was an interesting book. I always wondered why I would leave a party feeling worn out, and my wife would leave feeling energized. This book explains the needs of an introvert compared to an extrovert. There is no shame in being introverted, this book helped me realize that I work best when left alone, while co-workers like to

The Psychopath Test is a fascinating journey through the minds of madness. Jon Ronson's exploration of a potential hoax being played on the world's top neurologists takes him, unexpectedly, into the heart of the madness industry. An influential psychologist who is convinced that many important CEOs and politicians are, in fact, psychopaths teaches Ronson how to spot these high-flying individuals by looking out for little telltale verbal and nonverbal clues.

There are at least 68 million dogs in America, and their owners lavish billions of dollars on them every year. So why do so many pampered pets have problems? In this definitive and accessible guide, Cesar Millan, star of National Geographic Channel's hit show Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan, reveals what dogs truly need to live a happy and fulfilled life.

    L. Worthington says: "This Really Works!"
    "Worth an Audible Credit"

I enjoyed this book. Cesar has great insight into the lives of our four-legged friends, but it's a little long and his only advice is to walk your dog twice a day. If you're trying to train your dog, this isn't the book for you. But if you want to know why your dog acts the way it does, then get this book.
