The first half of this recording is listening to Louise state self-esteem affirmations, and the second half is music, with the affirmations recorded subliminally. The problem is, I don't think I'll be able to use the product as recommended (twice a day for 30 days) because I *really* don't enjoy the music. Very 80s elevator-music like.
This was my second experience with Louise Hay's audiobooks. Quite interesting. I like the flow of positive thoughts, but she does a few too many times interrupt the flow to explain or preach a bit. I like to listen to it while taking a walk, getting ready for bed, or when I want to block out noise at work. :)
This was my introduction to Louise Hay's audiobooks and I was pleasantly surprised. I knew she was a mistress of affirmations, but what I was looking for was "Deep Relaxation." Before that section, she gives a brief overview of her philosophy. I found it more agreeable that I was expecting. I often fall asleep before the end of the Deep Relaxation portion, which was just what I was looking for. I have listened to this every night for the last three weeks, and they've been some of the easiest, most optimistic weeks I've had in years. Maybe just the result of good sleep. Maybe something more?
