good story and held my attention until the end. I felt more should have been focused with the end rather to just quickly tie up loose ends with a few pages. The end was not as developed as well but none the less a good read.
and how corrupt he was and how corrupt politics is all around. You will hate what you hear but you will learn a good deal!!!! try it!
but the end was quickly wrapped up almost like the writer was told to hurry up and end the book.
boring with hard to follow passages. I do not like the way the author spread this book out. and the accents were so difficult to understand. I do not recommend.
interesting but the narrator really bungles this up. The fake accents and the flexion of the narrrators voice are not consistent with the characters. An irish accent here ends up being an irish accent by mistake on someone else. And the voice of Peabody is so stupid and false sounding. Plus, I have never heard more abbreviations used in this book. The author says vid for viedo, vic for victim, pov for point of view, the L T for letunient (sp), And plenty more. No one talks that way. It took me awhile to understand vid for video. and then hearing "Let's get the L T here to look at this Vid of the Vic......come on, really. I would not recommend this book.
and non stop story listening! I enjoyed the development of characters and felt like I was right in the middle of things. Altho Grisham has a disclaimer that this is fiction it must be based on truth. Could not put it down.
but after listening for awhile I was totally consumed with the story. I learned so much about JF Kennedy and the assissanation. To be able to time travel and ago back to prevent bad things from happening was the icing on the cake iwth this book. You will not be disapointed.
and how our goverment hinders the soliders in the war. The Seals are dispatched to do the work but they must wait for orders to shoot. If it is war then let the guys do their jobs and stop this micro management. Plus, I read this book after Chris was murdered at his home in Texas, so it made this all the sadder for me. The Narrator tried to get the southern accent down but it sounded phoney and just not good at all. The book was good, and I was glad to be able
to read this accounting of the Seals life. The one thing that really disturbs me is the Hazing that goes on. Why does that still go on?
did not grab my atention, and was boring. I hope is someone has a better opinion they will post it. I could not finsih this one.
Does Ken follett ever write something boring? He researches his work to minute detail and delivers a winner every time. This will not let you down.
and kept my attention all the way to the end. Very intense! You will not want to get out of your car!
