I liked the ending the best. It started kind of slow but sped up as you progressed.
Yes, this could be make into a movie very easily.
After watching my mother experience and suffer from early onset Alzheimer's for 20 years this book brought back memories, smiles and tears. My mother was diagnosed at 52 years of age. It was a very long and emotionally difficult trek for all of us involved. It is so good to hear the story from Alice's point of view as a reminder to all that the person is still there and is human and still has value. Thank you for writing and producing this book.
Yes, Great follow up to the last book in the series "The Surgeon". This book and narrator gave a sense of thrilling excitement and mystery. The story is fast moving and displays new aspects to Rizzolli's character as the reader begins to understand her a bit more in each book.
the thriller nature of the story
She did them all so well it is hard to pick one. She really seems to have Rizzolli down very well, just what you think she should sound like as a tough female cop who has had to claw her way to the top in a man's world.
Great book in a good series. Well worth the money or credit point.
The narrator is wonderful and does a good job of lending her voice and expression to match the mood of the story. The ending makes you want to read or listen to the next book in the series right away to find out what Rizolli does regarding her pregnancy situation.
Maura Isles -- she is still somewhat of an unknown with a very deep and multi-faceted personality and background.
When Dr. Isles' exhusband shows up
It had some humor in it as well as excitement and mystery
Well worth the money or credit point
At least as good and since it is audible you can do other things while listening which you cannot do while reading -- such as drive your daily commute to and from work, prepare dinner in the kitchen, mow the lawn, etc......
The characters and the premise of the story
She did an awesome job !!! Really drew you into the story and characters.
When Rook Thomas reconnected with her sister and the ending when she was happy with her life and had become the best of both her personalities.
Was extremely sorry to come to the end of the book. It would be great if the author wrote a sequel or two.
Yes, there were a lot of details that one could pick more up the second time around. I listened to is on my commute to and from work. It kept my interest and took the boredom out of the drive.
When they got in the space ship and headquarters in the mountain
Kept my interest
Worth the cost
If you like lots of stereotypic science fiction dialog for chapter after chapter than you might like this book but if you were looking for action or excitement or even something slightly interesting then don't start at the first chapter skip to the last 25% of the book.
The audio performer was good and did the best he could with the book to make it interesting
90% of the kooky characters and side bar characters that never really added anything to the story.
All I can say is I wish there were more books in this series. The author helps you to identify and understand characters so well that you fall in love with them and hate it when the book is over. The audio performer makes the characters come alive and keeps true to the author's feelings in the book. That is especially true with this last book in the series. Great listening, lots of lose ends in the tale are tied up and new things come to light in this last exciting book. The last games were great along with the clock premise as part of the game makers design. I spend an hour to three hours a day in my car and this audio book made me want to make my drives longer just so I could listen to more of the book. Great listen and well worth the cost.
Catness the MokingJay was my favorite character however I loved Peta
Great performance as usual for McCormick
Fantastic, Fun, Engaging
I love all the areas where the reader can get into Ender's mind and how he plays situations and outwits others.
Clear voice with proper amount of excitement and enthusiasm
Yes, yes, yes,........ Never wanted to stop when I got to work or home. I listened to this book during my daily commute to work. Couldn't wait to get back into the car to listen.
Definately different than most cookie cutter science fiction books. Very interesting premise spanning both the future, science fiction, and ancient history. At times the story kind of got lost in all the details of each time period, thus dragging it down a bit. Was very inexpensive for my Kindle so it was worth the price. Fantastic and fast moving in areas while in other areas slow moving and detail ridden.
He was fairly monotone and at times seemed to drone on and on.
Very interesting premise and mix of historical periods with futuristic periods of time.
