A great story after a bad first chapter. Twists and surprises all through the ride.
Historical, and personable the narrative is wonderfully informative in an entertaining way. Not a story as much as a collection of remembrances.
The description of life in England in the 1950's with the history of the buildings and the way of life
she whispers when she narrates. Actual stories and character voices are great, but the voice that ties them together is the one I use reading a good night story to make a toddler drift off.
it would be a lousy film, no action all history
Better would have spent the first chapter on something more interesting than why to read the book. I do have it already. The second chapter discussed how to get more out of your annual employment interview (I'm self employed, not helpful). The third chapter focused on coaching and mentoring, still no information about how to figure out what you (or I) am ment to do
No, no, do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars, heck NO
Great plot twists and character development
The people, the history, the scheming.
Voices especially the accents
The experience was most enjoyable because of the variety of mythical creatures dealing with modern day life....sort of
The Anne McCafferty Dragon series, also speaks with the voices of dragons and the people who love them. In this book add a little gang tension and a Vegas style mob. Then shuffle up the talents so nobody is boring.
The voices were wonderful.
I laughed and cried. If they would have left out all the sex I would recommend it to everybody.
I worried when book 4 ran out of steam at the end and book 5 is all war and gore and none of the enchanting character insights and interactions. The author is bored or tired, but the narrator is still in great form. It ties up loose ends if you need that but I wish I hadn't wasted my time with it
I don't have time for print so audio books are great. This series has been strong, each installment adds depth.
Don't have time to sit in a theater
Loosely based on the biblical story of Gomer, this book brought to life the perils of traveling west and what the settlers found
Good narrative speed
It is appropriate
I really enjoy this series. There is comedy, creative plot twists, unique characters, great narration and enough clues to start the series at any point.
Consistent characters and fun dialog.
Oberion is my favorite
They tell you what they will tell you, then they tell you how they will tell you. Then they te you, then you get Cosmo style tests. The subject was interesting but I couldn't plow throu the love connection tests
